Big Basin Redwoods State Park

A great alternative to Muir Woods if you don't want to fight the crowds. You'll be amazed my the trees and the tranquility.

Loved the trails . If you want a get away from the noise of the city , then this is the place. Very scenic and the trees are amazing. Our puppy loved it out here.

Highly recommend the 11 mile hike on the Berry Loop Falls trails . You will see all the beautiful waterfalls and get in a good workout.

If you want to realise how powerful the nature is look up and try to see the top of the tree .

The 11-mile hike on the Howard King Trail to Berry Creek Falls was strenuous but so worth it!

Definitely do the berry Creek trail 11 mile loop

Do the 11 mile loop ! Take the redwood trail to Dool trail to Sunset Trail past the three waterfall . Then take the skyline trail back. Great exercise

If you want to go hiking , get there before 10am. This place fills up fast.

Good hikes . Lots of uphill. Wear good shoes .

Many beautiful big redwoods also make sure to bring a jacket it gets cold up there under all that shade.
