You can pay $6 for a guided tour or just walk up it yourself. It's been closed to any car besides the tour busses for years so no driving up to see everything.
Took the guided tour in the vanasaurus with Dan or "Danasaurus" - which was cool and affordable . Tip the guy. Pay for the exhibit hall. Support conservation and preservation of a very cool landmark .
The "rock doc." who gave us the bus tour was fantastic. So informative. She was the reason for our great experience.
Nice easy paced path to look a a bunch of fossils and footprints. Cool to see red rocks as well .
Take the guided bus tour for the inside scoop on the area's fossils and their discoveries. Totally worth the five bucks a head!
Don't leave your car in the lot too late because they lock it at 5PM or 6PM until 9AM the next day. There is some parking on the road outside the lot that is a better idea.

Recommend parking nearby and hiking up the limited access road . Watch out for rattlesnakes!

Those big rippled track looking things aren't dinosaur footprints. Go up the hill a few dozen feet and you will see real ones!
Go to the top. Great view of red rock amphitheater .

Get place to experience natural history. Out of town family loved it.

Bike up the evergreen mtn west trail. It's a good steady uphill with a gorgeous view at the top. - Anthony H

Great area for run. Wildlife all around from mountain goats to big horn sheep to waterfowl. Colorado Trailhead 6 miles up adds more to the great scenery. - Jamie Sorrells
Fantastic venue of a concert. The natural amphitheater set in the rocks makes this place unforgettable. Concessions were varied and at typical prices, the bbq I had was good. Definitely a must see. - Greg Fuller
