Some years have passed since this tragedy. But it all comes flooding back at this place. My wife and I cried on the first visit. The grounds are truly haunting, day or night. Bring a good camera .
Sobering, sad, eye opening, but a must-see. You could spend the whole day here. Don't miss the museum . They've done a beautiful job presenting, replicating many of the moments and history of the day.
Definitely check this out even if you're just visiting. I had 24 hours in OKC, and I'm so glad I made the museum a priority! (Pro tip: take your student ID for $12 admission!)
The tour in the museum is one of the most jarring experiences of my life. I couldn't shake the images for a month. You MUST visit here. The grounds are both gorgeous and sobering.
The museum has just installed new interactive exhibits , which do a great job of expanding on the story. If you've been before, come again to see what's new.

Incredibly powerful, outdoor portion is open 24/7 and free to public. I do recommend going inside too, though.
"We see ourselves in this place-the face of someone changed forever by what happened here." The National Parks System FAQS page about the Memorial will help answer your questions about symbolism, etc.
Thousands of ceramic tiles were sent to Oklahoma in 1995. A sampling of those tiles is now a permanent part of the Oklahoma City National Memorial.
It is really moving and touching. The tributes left to the victims from the citizen of OKC is amazing. Cross the street to the Catholic Church and see the statue of Christ.
The consensus seems to be to come at night, but I came during the day, and I highly recommend it. This is an absolutely beautiful memorial, and if you're nearby you must come visit it. The Field of

A moving monument to a terrible event . If you go, go at around 2am. City is quiet , no traffic and the lit-up chairs pop out to your eye. Very emotional and great time for reflection .
It's an amazing museum that takes you through the days events in a very unique way. Memorial is awe inspiring and a must see in Oklahoma.
If you do one thing in OKC , this should've it. Somber but so well done. Great way to tell the story of that horrific day.
I had the opportunity to visit and reflect on the memorial. Next time I'll try to go to the museum . Very moving.
Incredibly moving memorial. A must visit when in OKC. You can check it out quickly but take some time to reflect and learn.
Be sure to make time to hear one of the rangers tell the story behind the monument - fascinating, educational and entertaining.
Nice but sad...... Toured the grounds and will return for the inside museum tour .
