If you are visiting San Diego, you must stop and visit the Del. Beautiful hotel with lots of cool restaurants and speciality shops to see. The beach outside is one of the best in the city .
You'll be well-attended here. But get dropped off if you're just visiting. Or valet. Or park on the street and let the meter run out. All alternatives are cheaper than hotel Guest Parking .

Even if you aren't staying, this place is great for an afternoon, a few drinks, and a lunch or early dinner . Pricey , but worth the opportunity. Even walking through the lobby is a great experience.

This is a very classic and historic hotel in San Diego. Even if you don’t plan on staying here as a guest is a good place to visit while you are in the city .
The hotel just celebrated 130 years. Everything is pricey but the food is excellent and the staff helpful.

Fabulous architecture , ocean breezes, and scrumptious (albeit pricey ) food. What else can you ask for? Rumor has it Frank Baum wrote parts of the Wizard of Oz here.
Go to the Del Beach cabanas while they set up! You can lay in a cabana for free until they boot you out. Great way to spend 90 minutes with morning coffee , snuggled, watching the ocean. #winning

Beautiful hotel . Amazing beach . Sat outside in late December, enjoyed the warm sun, and ordered cocktails and chips w salsa and guacamole . Their salsa is delicious! Guacamole is very fresh.
The holiday light were awesome, the bar on the beachfront is a must! Bring friends, the sunset is amazing from the patio .

The Windsor Cottage belonged to Wallace Smith! She lived in Coronado and later married the future king of England who had to abdicate because she was, well , not a suitable Queen (among other things).
It costs $20 to park at the hotel for 2 hours. Plus $10 for every extra hour. Or, for 25¢ (or was it two quarters?) you can park for 2 hours using the parking meters across the street. (Bring change.)

The hotel opened in 1888 as the largest resort hotel in the world and the first to use electrical lighting. It was declared a historic landmark in 1977. Rooms 3502 and 3327 are reported to be haunted!

There are lots of things to do here, in the winter you can ice skate as well in the outdoor skating rink .
