Popular orders incl: Power chendol (w thick Gula Melaka ), Gangster Ice (mango cubes over bed of ice shavings, topped w a scoop of durian purée), or take out d durian & u hv Mango Ice
While its gula melaka syrup is tasty, its very thick and when it cold from ice, its hardly melt and struck with spoon, something really ruin the overall experience. The chendol itself is quite soft.
While a lot of their desserts r innovative, they also serve traditional offerings like cheng tng , tao suan & sweet potato soup :-)
Although had been a fan, actually prefer another chendol stall in the market - Honeybee Garden 's version. It is more coconuty and less sweet n sticky Gula.
You won't go wrong with the gangster ice ($2.50) or power chendol ($2), these are their 2 most popular desserts .
The power chendol really very power! The thick gula melaka elevates the chendol to the next level.
Always love their Gangsta Ice. Its been years since i ate Chendol. Tried their signature Chendol. Gosh! It's so nice, irresistible but WARNING it's also very sweet..
Best cendol in Singapore.
Lastest update: Gangster Ice is now $3 because they are using Mao Shan Wang durian now.
Gangster Ice is mango and durian ice cream on top of ice. For S$2.50, it is quite worth it especially under the hot sun.
Try their bobo chacha while you're at it. Generous serving of coconut milk . And if the cold desserts are too sweet you can tell them to put less syrup or even no syrup bcos they dont premake it :)
Only Power Chendol & Gangster Ice are worth ordering. Red beans are not as soft as real Penang style beans
One of the best cendol you can ever get in a hawker center.
Power Cendol @ $2 and Cheng Tng @ $1.50 recommended. Generous portion of ingredients
Cendol was the best I've had however not a fan of cendol in general.
