Great hotel for any event at the fairgrounds or the race track . On the other side of the 5 freeway, there is a 24-hour McDonald's, a movie theater , and Milton's Deli .
Staff are super nice, pool excellent & walking distance to good fish restaurant . But I do wish they'd stop broadcasting anodyne music around pool to10pm. You hear it in rooms so no quiet evenings :(
The horse on the lobby changes by season. Holloween is the best =) - bar usually closes by eleven pm oh and pay the extra for the patio off the room. Makes a huge difference. Enjoy!
Make sure you don't get room #1098 it shares a wall with the Club Lounge where the free breakfast preparations begin around 5:30am

This is an excellent hotel . Greta late night pub and fire pit .
Staff says they are working on it for everything. Satellite channels out in room for 3 days straight. Wanted to sit by fire pit but no one eve came to change propane for 2 nights straight.
