Very friendly staff . Free French baguette as we walked in the door. And at least two were descended from Welsh people!
Utterly friendly and what’s not to like about being right on the square? My objection was the hastily crafted cappuccino with so much dry foam it looked like a sundae . Good people-watching!
The cheese sticks are a local favorite, but all of their bread is so good and it's featured in many local restaurants . Such a uniquely Sonoma place!
Generous portions , simple, affordable , good quality food. Great for lunch . The tuna melt is insanely good!
You might be lucky enough to grab a free loaf of bread around 5pm. And the beehive cake looked to die for.
All Foods! Great for breakfast lunch picnics and Coffee breaks
This is my go-to breakfast sandwich spot . Sausage egg and cheese croissant is killer as are periodic specials.
The turkey half-sandwich was perfect to fill the gap before dinner !
Oh my god, so many breads !!! I would buy everything!!!
The turkey and cheese quiche is the best I have tasted.
Friendly staff . Beehive cake and Swedish princess cake . Good soy cappuccino
Love this place. Wish there was a place like this back home.
Good quality of the food (try the ham & cheese croissant ) but the prices a little bit high

Excellent sandwiches . Warm atmosphere.
Friendliest staff and wonderful breads , pastries and sandwiches .
Get a fresh late-night loaf of sourdough bread for $3. Do it.
The people that work here at the BEST!!
Get the veggie breakfast panini .
Around midnight they cool the fresh bread in the alley. Buy a steaming hot loaf for a buck, or two. It'll change your life.
Don't bother trying to figure out what you want until you hit the front of the line . It's impossible to see the pastries in the case until you're at the register.
Basque is great everyday except on 4th of July when it!s closed!
Apricot muffin was excellent.
very friendly & busy place.
Just get the mocha !
Get the quiche of the day. So, so good.
Nice little bakery and sandwich shop . Clean fresh ingredients , nice staff .
The ham and cheese croissant is great!!
ham and swiss cheese croissant is heaven
try the beesting, it's more honey than sting!
Sitting at the small bar where they prepare the coffee is a bad idea if you know anything about proper food safety. They are not exactly following rules but I'm trying to look the other way...
The bread here is beyond!!
Butter croissants ... Mmmmmm. Goat Rock and Sonoma blend coffees !
The morning bun is a must!
Try the Cappuccino
Fantastic coffee .
They run out of the beehive cake by the slice towards end of day.
The Granola really is excellent, especially around July 4th!
Everything here is excellent
The quality of the bread is variable
Beehive cake ! ❤️❤️
Try the Morning Bun for a burst of sweet, delicious carbs. Mmmm... carbs.
Cherry chocolate muffin
great salad niçoise !
Our gang is there every morning
Coffee drinks are good. Food isn't great.
Morning bun is amazing
great gronola but the breads are generally a disappointment! Read more
Great to be Mayor.

Vintage scooters and proper Italian coffee? Yes please! - Wilson Favre-Delerue
Obviously amazing cheeses! But also awesome barbeque and a cool Sonoma trinket shop! - SomethingAboutSonoma
Absolutely love the relaxed atmosphere here. Designates tasting recommended (won't find these in stores) and definitely try the moscato if you like a sweeter chilled dessert wine. - Kristin
