Pretty square, with pleasant lawns and a wide array of shops and restaurants .
Visited right after July 4th parade !!! There were so many picnics and artists and food vendors and some musicians ... was tons of fun and really cool to see the local culture!!
Take a break and watch the fountain or if you have kids let them play in the grass or playground . Really nice area for a blanket and a nap.

The Visitor Center in the the Plaza is a good spot to get tips. Tell 'em Sonoma County sent ya! (And ask for your 'I Love Sonoma Valley' sticker...)

Grab a basket, a blanket, a buddy. Fill the basket with grub from any of the great local dining establishments (basque , el dorado, sunflower ) then head to the park and lounge on the lush lawn.
On farmers market days, bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy with the live music and wonderful atmosphere!
