Sandwiches are on a whole 'nother level here! Fresh homemade bread (mmmm Tomato Focaccia ) and deliciously decadent cookies ! Excellent soup and sides (just avoid the dry quesadillas ). It's BYOB too!

They have daily specials plus their regular menu. Free water to your left, make coffee fresh as it is ordered, bathrooms downstairs. In the summer, they offer outdoor seating ! Parking is limited here!

Of all the neighborhood cafés in Chicago, this one holds a special place in my heart. Try the "Pollo Diablo ," and remember this it's cash only ! (A stop by the ATM is worth it, promise).

For Arizonans, this is a smaller, more local version of Beyond Bread , aka awesomeness in a sandwich . Also have salads and pastas , great cookies , and good looking desserts

The sweet French is like bread candy . The roasted beef is my go to, but I also love the oxacan pork . Smoky pasta is great. Always get their crabcakes if available. I don't love their desserts .

The Oxacan Pork sandwich is my favorite. The Spicy Philly is good too (get it on the tomato foccacia ). Can get busy at lunch time.They deliver if you're feeling lazy.

One of the best BLTs in the city , the sweet French bread puts it over the top.

The pizza is great for 5 bucks!! BUT be prepared to wait 30 mins. Order ahead during busy times!

They don't have it everyday but their wheat bread is phenom. Ask for it. It's especially tasty on the grilled cheese special.

While cookies are ok, the lady who works here is a super bitch. Doesn't tell you it is cash only till you are handed your bag then gives you a dirty look & swears at you when you only have your card.
