everything is overfried until too dry. i dont like it. waiters are very friendly and efficient though, always asking if u need refills. only like how cabbage is julienned so fine, so pretty!

Teresa Lui

The meals are looking good. But they are over-fried, as another reviewer mentioned before. But the price is affordable and the staff is very friendly .

Sin Tem Tem

Nice tonkatsu but I prefer Tonkatsu by Ma Maison which has more variety, multigrains rice , salad with sesame dressing . However tonkatsu sauce with ground sesame and miso soup , Wa Kitchen wins!

@Wa Cafe : Iced Latte's smooth and too easy going, which is also what's lacking with it as it has no distinct character, like your everyday Starbucks or Coffee Bean, a quick fix that's easily forgotten

Olga Gallo

Miso is so good, Tonkatsu don is tasty, katsu not dry at all. Sesame sauce is great!????

Sky Chew

The pork is amazing quality. They have a nice diy dipping sauce . First grind the sesame seeds then put in the sauce. The oily looking bottle is for salad

Winnie Tang

I think this is the first n only Tonkatsu chain in Malaysia. Simple n easy meals. All sets all affordable . You get grind your own sesame sauce . Must pork fillet cutlet-set 6 n Buta Shogayaki !!!

Rebecca Saw

So much better compared to Maison Tonkatsu in 1U & Ichiriki in Gardens ! If u wan good tonkatsu , eat it here! :)

Dominic Lee

Price tags are okay but please beware that the curry rice here is authentic which makes it a bit more spicier than usual japanese curry ^^; the sesame mix goes really well with the katsu

This restaurant offers several nice Tonkatsu set meals . Unfortunately I discovered a very big cockroach happily enjoying food previously spillt under my table... It spoiled the experience somewhat.

Niña Gallegos

I ordered set 6. They cook their meat a little overdone, so its a tad dry. I wish the pork was more juicy.

Richard Foo

Nothing to shout about but the Tonkatsu dishes are decent enough. The pork loin option is a wee bit on the hard side. For those who prefer non fried dishes try the sautéed pork belly set.

Minii Jun

Unlimited refill for rice , green tea , miso soup and salad . Price is reasonable for shop in pavilion

Luna Belle

Do - order their Chicken Katsu . It's crispy . Miso soup is tasty. Don't - order their Pork Cutlet . Its too dry. Salad is refillable. Average RM30 per set. It's reasonable. Environment is cool, not cold.

Tracy Loh

tonkatsu portion is very filling, but taste wise is not as good as expected, compared to ma maison. staff service is quite good, as there isn't many customers around. https://t.co/WPTaAPeJaA

Love the curry set. Also do try out the crush your own sesame sauce it goes well with the katsu

Katariina K.

Affordable and will fill your needs for any kind of tempura or tonkatsu .

Hoshi Chong

Affordable and nice… love the tonjiru soup … 27++ for one set of katsu … soup , cabbage and rice are refillable…

Benjamin Looi

Prefer Tonkatsu by Ma Maison . Slightly cheaper and bigger portion.

Matt

The dishes here aren’t great so I wouldn’t come again. Tonkatsu by Ma Maison is far better.

G C

Delicious food and great rice . Would come back just for more rice . WiFi : tonkatsu06

Png Chun Keat

All fried and all nice. ???? on top of that, refillable rice and miso soup !

Carol Low

Although is nearing to closing, staff are very hardworking, they even ask us few times whether want to up the cabbage & rice .

Christine

Good service & special mixture of self owned grinded sesame + sauce with the tori.

Vincent Loo

Delicious food and nice environment.

Joe Kee

Hire Katsu + Ebi Furai Zen & Katsu Don-Zen, Yummy Yummy

N+

The hot sake 's a good break from the regular green tea .

Charlotte Kong

Zo Shiyi

Few choice but most of food is nice! Friendly staff !

Jasmine Lew

Grind your own sesame sauce ! Fried shrimps are awesome! Like the refillable cabbage

Fai Fai

The standard of food quality is not as nice as Publika and Mainplace outlet. I would say.., it's horribly maintain and the portion is much more smaller than other outlets.

Na Yee Ching

Try the pork set 2.....pork loin and unlimited chopped cabbage .....not bad

KarSoon Lee

salad , rice unlimited refill for set meals .

Helena

Food was average. Service should be improved. We were given the bill without us asking for it and the restaurant was almost empty. Waitresses have that "since you've finished eating, leave!" look.

Christyn33

Salad n rice are refillable!

Joachim Ooi

Ordered Set 5 (Buta Shogayaki Zen), it was okay to me. Nothing fancy . -Penang Kia Food Critique-
