Sammy's Bar and Grill

This place is much better than the tips imply. Our family ordered shrimp , onion rings , and chicken nachos . All were fresh and tasted good. Service was quick too. Really pretty good for airport food .

Good food and great Mai Tais but it's slow to get service once seated and especially at the end when getting the hill

Sammy's Wake Up "Screaming" coctail is sweet and a little bit spicy , I like it. Sammy's Mai Tai available in double. Salad bowl is hudge. If you have time limit - just sit at the bar , serves faster

Open seating in the bar ! Sammy's is a great spot to sit in air conditioning and still watch planes . Excellent service , good chili .

Very good food & cocktails (esp Red Rocker) in a friendly sports-bar environment. Great to have a place like this in an airport .

If the speed of getting a menu is indicative of the food service speed, I'm glad we didn't stay after seeing the ridiculously inflated prices. CPK was delicious as always.

Service is on Hawaii time so no sense in coming if you are rushed for time. Otherwise, the al fresco seating is comfy and the food is tasty. Not bad if you have an hour to spare

Well the Nachos were portioned for a 5 year old child and had the flavor to back up the palate of a kindergartner. The Mai Tai was an embarrassment to the islands .

Ok drinks, food on the platters passing by looked average as well , staff unfriendly to the point of disaster (or ability to speak and understand English), prices very much unclear. Feels like a ripoff

The beach salad is big enough for 2...and the dressing alone is worth the price of the salad ...sooo good!!

In the side of the food court - you can duck in to the a/c in case you're hot!

I know other reviews are mixed, but this is a nice chill place to get served and have a decent meal while at OGG.

Sammy Hagar theme on the walls, surf theme on the tables and ceiling. Pretty chill place in the afternoon.

The beach salad is HUGE and the chimichurri dressing is amazing! Add chicken !

Sammy Hagar was the worst thing to happen to Van Halen. But his bar is ok. Order a beer and they ask if you want a shot. Ok. Sure!

Saddest $18 nachos ever. Just come for the drinks.

Do NOT get the mai tai ! Its carbonated canned juice that tastes more like lemonade with half a floater of rum .

I wouldn't eat dinner here again. The chicken sandwich wasn't good, nachos weren't good either. Maybe OK for a drink and some fries or an appetizer while waiting.

Seafood bisque was pretty good - included huge pieces of crab meat etc

Beach Salad with lobster meat are the best.

I'm not one to give bad reviews because usually its just personal things that I don't like. With that being said....this place sucks. Their menu is terrible...the chicken is dry, the fries were old.

The food is horrible! Come on seriously plastic plates and plastic silverware!! I would recommend just getting a drink to will get better food in first class ....

Slow service - mediocre food - the only upside is that they have a bar - grab some food outside the airport if you can
