Villa Farnesina

Built by Baldassare Peruzzi 1506-1510 for Agostino Chigi, the great banker of Julius II, surrounded by magnificent gardens now mostly demolished; frescoes by Peruzzi, Del Piombo, Rafael & il Sodoma.

Tickets cost EUR 5, but during the weekend for EUR 10 you can get a guided tour with a little concert . Tours in English are on Saturdays.

There are not many rooms but the fresco paintings are amazing. The visitof the garden is not very special but it is nice to have a little overview.

Entrance: Box Office at the event location, Via della Lungara 230 – opening at 10:30pm. Ticket € 30, Roma pass: € 27. Family tickets (under 16: € 8, 0-6 years: free entrance).

In autumn, guided tours on Sat., Sund., Mond. at 12:30 for no extra charge.

allora lavorandoci vi dico che villa farnesina non costa 30€, ma si paga 5€..poi dipende ci sono delle riduzioni...è una struttura privata roma pass non è valido...ottima struttura ne vale la pena...

Molto bella, vale la pena visitarla anche se sono poche stanze
