This is a dream come true for those who love manga and comics.The most comprehensive Asian book/manga store in the East Coast. There're so many nice stationery items, I considered giving up computers!
Stationery! Japanese souvenirs! Oh, and books , yeah! I also like the selection for craft souls - if you like to knit, sew, crochet you'd find something interesting.
Japanese mega bookstore with 3 floors. Large selection of manga on the top floor. Very relaxing vibe and there's a cafe with decent food and drinks.
A Japanese bookstore near Bryant Park with various magazines, manga , books (English and Japanese), stationery, and other knick knacks. Cafe Zaiya is upstairs with great snacks and refreshments.
They have a very nice café and many Japanese manga (Japanese language !) for reasonable prices. Must-go if you don't like to import all the time yourself.

Some of the cutest stationary ever! Sells some anime merchandise on the floor above ground floor. A lot of good raw and untranslated Japanese books on both that floor and basement section.

I love this place! Bottom floor houses Japanese books , magazines, etc and stationary/goodies. Main floor houses books . Top floor for anime , music , toys , and a cafe !

Best place to go for Japanese books and even weekly magazines. They also have a great section with origami and other stationery goods, and a coffee shop in the 2nd floor!
They have a strong manga comics section. Don't forget to look out for the comic drawings on the walls when you're going up to the 2nd level.
