Great theatre to come to for proms , classical music and musical concerts . Michael Xavier singing here most Augusts, most years must if like me you're a fan of his work she talent. V. Carnegie Hall.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is resident here, and the City of London Sinfonia are regular visitors. Great programme of recitals and choral concerts too.

Becoming one of my fave venues for live music : if you ever come to listen to jazz to big band do sit in the galleries upstairs.

Very comfortable seats compared to Royal Albert Hall. Great selection of musicians . Keep checking programme .

Big enough but still small enough to enjoy a more intimate experience

So the 'no phones' rule here is pretty strict. Obviously don't answer calls but also don't check email, look up the music , or read along to what's playing. Basically don't venture near your pocket.

Perfect venue for choral music

Very poor experience: Kids screaming, doors open during performance , people talking loudly & flash photography !!! Why is there a booking fee (unannounced by the cashier ) for tickets at the door???
