The Dan Flavin Art Institute

Originally built as a firehouse in 1908, and operating as a church from 1924 to the mid-1970s, The Dan Flavin Art Institute was established in 1983 as a permanent installation for nine of Flavin's fluorescent sculptures, in addition to a gallery for changing exhibitions.
