830 Springs Fireplace Road East Hampton , NY 11937-1512 United States
Jackson Pollock and his wife, Lee Krasner, were perhaps two of the Hamptons’ most famous residents. You can tour their 1879 residence and studio, complete with paint splotches on the floor.
Can't believe visitors can walk on Pollock 's paint-splattered studio floor (with provided foam slippers). Awesome, especially for $5 admission.
Fantastic trip for high school students. I take my students every year and Ruby Jackson the assistant director does a fantastic job leading us on the journey of Jackson and Lee's life.
OFF SEASON VISITORS must book a tour !! When we arrived we were told they were booked until 4 that afternoon. We couldn't even enter the house. Call before you make the effort to drive out there. :(
A must to do for art lovers out east!
Very educational ! Reminds me of Ed Harris who played Pollock incredibly
