First time here! The staff were excellent, they let us try 6 flavours before we finally decided on what we wanted. I got the Gianduia (Choc hazlenut) & The Rexinator (a special).
The best dulce de leche icecream in the World! One of the best icecream places in the Eorld. Very close to those in Italy! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
The best gelato I have ever tried period. And I am european and live next to Italy. Dulce de leche and white choc with hazelnut are the best!
The most insanely pistachio Pistachio gelato I've ever tasted, and I've eaten a lot of that flavour all over Italy!
Fave flavour of the month for me is the Mighty GM Pie (peanut butter gelato with choco crust & custard , and banana jam ). Went back there for two consecutive weekends!
Best gelato in Melbourne , well that's what I think. There's usually a line because there's always so many people! So many flavours to choose from. Here's a tip: always check out the specials!
Wide variety of gelato , had pistachio and praline that comes with generous amount of pistachio !
Love their crazy flavours jam packed with chunky cookies , fudge or other misc items. Of the normal flavours I've tried, I like coconut&pandan, and the fig varieties. Queue moves fast Dw.
Messina is always exceptional, they have great sorbet options for non-dairy or vegan diets. I love the Coconut Pandan and the Salted Coconut and Mango flavors .
Gianduia bianca and salted caramel white chocolate together is a spiritual expeience i highly recommend ???? dulce et leche is my biggest regret because 3 scoops and i'd be breaking floorboards
Of course great Gelato , almost always crowded . My tip: if your going for more than one flavour don't get too many overly sweet ones, get a fruit or pistachio in there too
Amazing gelato that is even better than Sydney one. Great range of flavours and well priced! Be prepared to wait in line , service is quick and friendly .
Get the "Two Stroke" special if it's available. DAMN, those candied hazelnuts son.
Always a line , go right around to the far right counter to be served faster, and get at least one of the rotating specials.
Salted caramel and white chocolate - subtle yet beautiful. I also love how they have a tiny size ($3) for small-eaters like me!
If you like banana , and if you like peanut butter ... Get the banana split ! Messina is still tops in Melbourne in my books :)
Best ice cream I have yet to have. I tried blood orange and fig-salted caramel .
Sometimes cash only , so bring plenty as it's not cheap - 2 single cones and 2 double scoop cups $24. But it's worth it. Lots of innovative flavors.
A lot of choice and a lot of interesting flavours! White chocolate - hazelnut was yummy!
The best gelato in this part of the world (so says the ice cream and gelato critic) . Salted caramel pls!
Absolutely delicious - may be slightly crowded but a must go
Both the pistachio and the fondant were epic. I'm sure all the other flavors are equally good.
Pandan coconut was amazing. Brings me back to my summer holidays in Thailand and Philippines.
A must! Been in Sydney, and then here! Always the best! Try the tiramisu and the specials!
Very yummy ???? gelato ????
Very busy on a Saturday but definitely worth it. Great flavours and chilled atmosphere.
Just about everything! Often long lines , very pushy and you won't get a seat, but amazing gelato .
On really hot days I have this ice cream for lunch . Ice cream is own of the food groups, right?
Is really delicious!! I loved the dark chocolate ! My favorite ❤️
I wish 'the number two' would come back.. Best flavour by a long shot, I feel like they're teasing me by not having it anymore!
Little Bloke is the best!!! Peanut Butter with Nutella Fudge and Malt o Milk Biscuits ... yummmm!!!!!
Best gelato in the city ? Probably. Get anything. It's rich and tasty.
Vegan sorbets , with rotating flavors. The chocolate is so good!
Great variety of gelato including tasty non-dairy flavours
Do all your favourite standard flavours once then come back every now and then for the specials.
Go at night. You'll find the music+art+environment+ice cream are wow!
The JD&Smoke special was an interesting , added Tiramisu to the mix for a tasty dessert .
Be patient with the queue ...the ice-cream is certainly worth it!
Salted caramel with white chocolate is their most popular flavor and it's awesome! :)
Literally the best gelato I have ever had.
I love their effort to keep the flavors updated. however their classics such as the pistachio probably the worst pistachio that ive ever tasted
fav: roasted pear & rubarb! and coconut w/ lychee . and the prices are reasonable!
Never disappoints! Gianduia and Pops ( special) was deeee...liciois ????
If you love gay anthems, sexy staff , and creamy gelato you'll love it here!
Pandan and Coconut . I have pretty high standards for kaya but this blew my mind.
Amazing! The sorbets ...
Very good ice-cream. Terrible queueing system. Once you get inside, the queue breaks down and people get served randomly!
The crowd just flowed into the shop constantly, but I'm not sure if I get the hype. The gelato taste very sweet overall. Am not a big fan
Really good gelato but some flavours can be a bit rich and too sweet.
Queues can get super long on a warm night.
Cardamom & crushed pistachio flavour is so good! The special yoghourt & sour cherry flavour is yummy as well. - Renee Deng
kind and welcoming staff. looove the white clean interior! try the honeycomb, the cones are freshly made and delicious as. - melis k.
Gelato! Best in Melbourne. Generous scoop and so damn amazing. For a raspberry swirl and love the chunks of fruits in my gelato. - AManda HUang
Great rooftop bar with amazing views. Go before 6 to get a decent table and a view to beat the crowds - Karl Warden
I still like this woolies despite a new coles being built nearby. Woolies has a great range of organic produce and a well stocked health food aisle. The fresh sushi station is good too. - Sigrid de Castella
I would recommend sitting on the grass with a few friends and some drinks - Lou Hetrick
