Gelato Messina

First time here! The staff were excellent, they let us try 6 flavours before we finally decided on what we wanted. I got the Gianduia (Choc hazlenut) & The Rexinator (a special).

The best dulce de leche icecream in the World! One of the best icecream places in the Eorld. Very close to those in Italy! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The best gelato I have ever tried period. And I am european and live next to Italy. Dulce de leche and white choc with hazelnut are the best!

The most insanely pistachio Pistachio gelato I've ever tasted, and I've eaten a lot of that flavour all over Italy!

Fave flavour of the month for me is the Mighty GM Pie (peanut butter gelato with choco crust & custard , and banana jam ). Went back there for two consecutive weekends!

Best gelato in Melbourne , well that's what I think. There's usually a line because there's always so many people! So many flavours to choose from. Here's a tip: always check out the specials!

Love their crazy flavours jam packed with chunky cookies , fudge or other misc items. Of the normal flavours I've tried, I like coconut&pandan, and the fig varieties. Queue moves fast Dw.

Messina is always exceptional, they have great sorbet options for non-dairy or vegan diets. I love the Coconut Pandan and the Salted Coconut and Mango flavors .

Gianduia bianca and salted caramel white chocolate together is a spiritual expeience i highly recommend ???? dulce et leche is my biggest regret because 3 scoops and i'd be breaking floorboards

Of course great Gelato , almost always crowded . My tip: if your going for more than one flavour don't get too many overly sweet ones, get a fruit or pistachio in there too

Amazing gelato that is even better than Sydney one. Great range of flavours and well priced! Be prepared to wait in line , service is quick and friendly .

Get the "Two Stroke" special if it's available. DAMN, those candied hazelnuts son.

Always a line , go right around to the far right counter to be served faster, and get at least one of the rotating specials.

Salted caramel and white chocolate - subtle yet beautiful. I also love how they have a tiny size ($3) for small-eaters like me!

If you like banana , and if you like peanut butter ... Get the banana split ! Messina is still tops in Melbourne in my books :)

Best ice cream I have yet to have. I tried blood orange and fig-salted caramel .

Sometimes cash only , so bring plenty as it's not cheap - 2 single cones and 2 double scoop cups $24. But it's worth it. Lots of innovative flavors.

Very busy on a Saturday but definitely worth it. Great flavours and chilled atmosphere.

Just about everything! Often long lines , very pushy and you won't get a seat, but amazing gelato .

Very good ice-cream. Terrible queueing system. Once you get inside, the queue breaks down and people get served randomly!

The crowd just flowed into the shop constantly, but I'm not sure if I get the hype. The gelato taste very sweet overall. Am not a big fan

Really good gelato but some flavours can be a bit rich and too sweet.

Queues can get super long on a warm night.
