A beautiful place to relax . I come here often during my lunch breaks from work for a walk. It is usually very peaceful and calm . Sit on the grass and relax or read a book . Best park in Melbourne!

Find this great pillar left by the late John Woods to signify his indignance that the Victorian parliament was built using New South Wales stone rather than the perfectly fine local Victorian stone.

Be careful when touching the plants near the fountain - they have little spikes on them that hook into your fingers and hurt ):

Check out the French Fountain featuring bronzed winged children. The fountain was purchased and erected here in 1880.

I would recommend sitting on the grass with a few friends and some drinks

You can find lots of maple leaf fall on the ground during autumn. Is very nice.
