Brewery Vivant

One of my favorite breweries in Grand Rapids. All the beers are in the Belgian style and all I have tried are wonderful. Have had cheese plates / charcuterie boards and they were great.

Absolutely fantastic! Brought my Belgian sister-in-law here. The food and beers were simply amazing. Holds its own against any institution in Europe and America! Trust the staff 's recommendations!

Best burger I've ever had... Better than Stella's. Add Blue Cheese to your burger , you won't be sorry.

Great beers , great atmosphere, a little more upscale food choices than your typical brewery . Different seating choices...bar , booths , long shareable tables. Everything has a woody, ski-lodge feel.

I'm not usually a fan of dark, heavy beers , but this place was wonderful. Stopped in on a weekend "brewery tewery" with friends & I wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff and beer was top notch.

This place is quickly becoming my fav. It's a must! Try the Sticky Love, they used 40 lbs of carmel to make it.

Great beers , particularly if you like offerings that are sour/tart. Grab an order of the garlic & parsley fries if you want a snack ... they come out really quickly.

The bar is inside of an old church and has a very cozy feel to it. The rotating list of beers is Belgian and French focused.

I had the Pastrami and it was very fine. The pastrami was so tender and the fries are seasoned very well . The burgers were great too.

Vivant's menu is always changing, and eternally delicious. Get some pâté or poutine for a fresh change on beer + apps! Also, their server Aaron is pretty awesome ;)

The atmosphere is awesome and I loved the Duck nachos , truffle fries and the cider or Verdum beer which is great

They were all out if pretzels and our food order somehow got lost, but they rewarded us with free beer so it's all good! Food was amazing and worth the wait!

Once you try the beer cheese + pretzels with say, a nice pint of Triomphe , you will find any means necessary to repeat.

Food is pricey , but worth it. Beer is amazing - try the Kludde, Oatmeal Stout , or the Zaison if on tap ! Never had a problem with the service, very friendly and knowledgable !

Everything I've ordered has been delicious. Menu regularly changes with the seasons. Duck nachos are always a good choice ????

incase you're not in the mood for beer , the duck nachos & root beer float with house made vanilla bean ice cream is amazing!

Good, but not like they use to be a few months ago. Also, the Raspberry Cider is almost like a wine beer . Not as good as past years batch. Tripel and Farmhand still a favorite. All in all, good beer !

The interior is quite different from what you'd expect of a brewery ! Twice now it's been so busy that there is hardly space to stand around and drink. Go a little earlier in the evening to avoid that.

The duck nachos are fantastic! Firkin beer is a must!

The Cheetah is an AMAZING powerhouse of a beer ! 14.2 percent so be aware. Top 3 beers I've EVER tasted!
