Nasi Lemak . Freshly fried ikan bilis & ikan kuning (yellowstripe scad) from Kim Kim #01-29 are addictive. Stall sells ala carte dishes, so there's no 'standard' Nasi Lemak set. Chilli paste is savoury
Braised chicken feet w fried bee hoon . Unique offering for bfast from Swee Heng Hillview Steam Food #01-02. Nothing memorable other than sauce was slightly sweet & spicy , & bee hoon was steaming hot
Chai tow kway (fried carrot cake ). According to locals, Vegetable Oil Fried Carrot Cake #01-15 is the tastier of the 2 CTK stalls . Enough egg but more chai por (chopped fermented radish ) wd be better
Black mee sua ($7). Novelty premium bowl from Shiok Shiok Noodles #01-07. Soup base is very thick, unlike typical kidney soup mee sua . Served with ginger , minced pork , & slices of pig kidney & liver
Curry chicken noodles . If u r craving this dish, Seng Bee Chicken Rice at nearby Choice@338 kopitiam prepares a yummy bowl. Curry is quite salty though
The Ci Yuan Vegetarian beehoon is one of the best here and the Hillview steam food . Both got very friendly uncles serving our residents.
Prawn noodles . The soup from Eng Kee #01-09 is savoury & peppery. For their smallest $4 serving, it comes with 3 mid-sized prawns , fishcake slices & 'taugeh' (bean sprouts ). Nothing else
Fried Kway Teow . Possibly the driest serving I’ve ever eaten. From stall by the same name at #01-12. Pleasant chef but dish cannot make it
Plant-based options include: specialty vegetarian , fried carrot cake , lontong, pancake , yam cake , chwee kueh, local snacks & desserts , mee siam
Chai png (economy rice ). Enjoyed curry from AMK Curry Rice 01-25. On the pricier end but dishes are better quality
Mee rebus from 341 Cooked Food #01-08 is the Chinese spicy style. I could see processed chilli sauce in the gravy
Mee rebus Malay style from YNWA Yok!ngakan ke Warung Amy #01-26. While all the basic ingredients are there, their sauce is overly starchy
Fishball noodles . Dun be misled by lack of queue @ Hup Seng Huat #01-07. On weekends, lady boss will tell u 20mins waiting time for a bowl. Overall, fragrant & tasty but fishcake slices were tough
Bak kut teh . Award-winning Eng Kee #01-04 starts selling fr breakfast . Systematic, efficient service . Usual clear peppery soup BKT . They hv their fans
Oyster omelette (“or chien “). Oysters overcooked from stall #01-12
Nasi Lemak at Kim Kim 01-29 is so fragrant and light. Recommended.
Lai Lai serves good drinks and the interaction between the auntie and uncle is interesting to watch in the morning
No name fish soup sense pretty healthy, and there quite generous with the fish (at least for the $5 Mee sua )
One of the better Yu Tiao you can find !! The pork trotters is also rather good , the gravy just heavenly !!
The "no name fish soup " @ 01-13 is good. Not fishy n thick slices. Open only from 11 am - 2 pm. And 5-8 pm.
A popular bfast stop for visitors to Bishan AMK park across the road
Come here don't eat teochew porridge how can? Must try..but need to come early in the evening before a long queue starts forming.
Wantan mee ($4). Below par from Fatty Cheong #01-20, compared to their main branch standard. Wantans were sizeable. Char siew (BBQ pork ) slices inconsistent: some were dry. Sauce was also not fragrant
MSCP @ Blk 316B has sheltered walkway to the hawker centre
ATMs nearby l. Between Blks 338 & 339 is POSB. OCBC is at Blk 339 (7-Eleven)

Yong Tau Foo. Enjoyed serving from newly-opened Lao Niang Noodle Street. Clean & light clear soup. 5 standard items for $4.50. Sour chilli sauce offered unique contrast. Noodles were springy, aromatic - Cheen The Curious
The fish soup at the food court is delicious, it's beside the beef noodle store. - Alan Cheng
