Forgot a before picture but the potato balls are to die for,It's like thanksgiving on a ball.Their cheese rolls are good also ! It gets very busy & the baristas working there are very fast.Amazing !

The Papa Preparada (Potato Ball Sandwich ) no longer seems to be on the menu but they'll still do it at the Glendale location if you ask. I like mine on a croissant . It usually comes with Cuban Bread .

I always get boxes of Cheese rolls ???? (stacked). potato balls ???? (for snacking inside the car!). & get a slice of Dulce de leche Napoleon ???? soooo good???????? (enjoy it at home).

A must! Cheese rolls , cookie kisses (raspberry & dulce de leche), veggie potato balls are my fave. Drinks are too sweet for my taste. Call a day ahead to get the party size (smaller) cheese rolls .

Roasted pork sandwich was incredible! So tender, no fat, good bread to meat ratio and pickled onions . Tried a few of the hot items in the case thought most were bland but chicken dumpling was good.

We want the potato balls ...no wait, the cubano sandwich ...or a dozen cheese rolls ! The only problem with Porto's is that everything is delicious and you'll have a hard time choosing what to get!

Can't go wrong with the potato balls . Sandwiches are also pretty bomb if you want more than just a snack . Very good place, but also often crowded !

Of course the guava pastry and the guava + cheese pastry . And the peanut butter cookie is one of the best I've ever had here. Definitely get true red velvet cake or chocolate mocha ! Everything is ????????

Great stop on the way home to LA Verne from LAX in the very early AM. I had a tasty guacamole omellete croissant sandwich with eggs and mmm cheese . It melts in your mouth after each bite!

Try the pulled pork or Cuban, great price, big flavor. Try the potato balls (like a stuffed fried mashed potato ball ) which is still an understatement. Park 90 mins free in the garage off California.

The community is great, of course and there inside Porto's is a bomb café , which I enjoy each and every drink every visit with a steak torta and the side banana chips

Croquettes are yumm and don’t forget the croissants . Glendale Portos is less crowded as compared to the Portos at other places. Portos is a go to place for best (again yumm) food at cheap prices.

Guava and cheese strudel , apple strudel , and almond Danish are Super delicious! Almost all food in this place superb! Reasonable price, good food, nice environment to eat... What else do you need?

Found out about Porto's from theskedge.com since they posted about some event they were holding. I decided to check the place out and I think it's the best bakery I've ever been too! Best Steak Wiche!

The cheese rolls are delicious! The girl who helped me (I should have gotten her name) was very nice that she took the time to help me and gave me one cheese roll to sample on my first time here :D

My favorites were the guava and cheese strudel and the dulce de leche besito cookies . Online order pickup is outdoors in the parking lot behind and can get crazy busy

Cubano or Medianoche are my go to sandwiches . Grab a potato ball filled with tasty meat on the side. The chicken croquettes are a great choice too for something a little lighter.

It’s the same great menu choices in both stores, despite there being what seems like two separate stores. Great staff with wide knowledge of the products their selling. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have not eaten anything here that didn't taste good. On top of my favorites list are the Dulce de Leche cake , meat pies and Chorizo pies ! ???? ????

They have cold malta! Seems to be harder and harder to find. The macaroons are amazing. No picture to show - it got eaten too quickly ????

If you want the tastiest wedding cake imaginable that will have your guests fighting for 2nd slices this is the place to go. Really, all their desserts are highest quality. Also get the potato balls .

Despite how busy they are, service is fast and you will be attended in no time. I really love all their empanadas . Today, I tried their 3 leches cake . Best 3 leches I've had so far.

The other day got their Cuban sandwich and it was amazing. Took my Cuban mother here for tostadas at 8am and she was delighted. The woman said it was the real deal. Everything is good here.

Everyone's right: the potato balls are too good to ignore. One is not enough. The flourless chocolate cake is also heavenly. Might as well try anything because everything I've had here has been good!
