Brasserie Girolle

Very much enjoyed dinner last night. Portions were just right.. Bread reminded me of Tartine bakery . :-) Braised short ribs were tender and truffle pasta 's texture was perfect!!

The 8 hour roasted beef and the foie gras appetizer had me at hello :) but maybe I'm just biased because Chef Ian's a friend and I'm a big fan of La Girolle...but no, it was really very delicious :)

Get the St-Jacques Scallops & Mushrooms . Very good, but not very filling. Make sure you order appetizers , salad , soup &/or dessert if you've got a man-sized appetite.

The Steak au poire was incredible-- highly recommended. Saint Jacques Poele was delicious as well . The Saucisse Grille was flavorful enough, but I found the Jarrets d'agneau rather bland.

Nice casual brasserie with simple French fair and some Filipino favourites, good wine list , not cheap but reasonable

Fully stocked bar , good and affordable food, the service as always is impeccable.

Really nice date place . French food , cozy & quiet place .

The steak with mashed potato was good though it will be better if they go easy on the pepper

The steak of steak frites was overly marinated in red wine which made it too bitter

Amazing French menu. Definitely a must try!

Disappointed with the food to be honest. Wine 's great though. The only saving grace was the mashed potato that accompanied the scallops and the extra order of green beans .

Beer battered fish is excellent

Do not order the crispy US duck - tough, overly salted, and utterly forgettable. The creme brûlée is delicious though.

Definitely no go place , if you are hungry

Lunch specials are up to par with a carinderia. Rip off.
