Dating from about 2300 BC, markers now replace rings of timber posts, which once possibly supported a ring-shaped building.

Not a big spectacle as there are only concrete markers in place of the former wooden posts however a nice place. Beware the the field next to it is massively covered in animal droppings.
Interesting site with some information boards for visitors. Park on the road as there is no car park .

North (over the road ) is Durrington Walls - the largest henge in Britain.

Great hands on farm. Also has fantastic hand washing facilities every few paces with warm water!! Loads for kids to do besides animals. Soft play great, pedal go karts, trampolines and more. Fab! - Jo Davis
