Additional exhibits and learning sections about the site, including an amazing 360 multimedia view of the site... takes about 20 min to walk to actual stones or 5 min bus ride
1. It's a visitor centre , not center. 2. Come for the summer solstice - you can go right up to the stones and climb on them like you could when I was a child (and for thousands of years). It's free.
Since you still can see the road from the monument , I do 't see the reason for the bus drive with respect to how it was. Still the exhibition is nice. And stonehenge itself still rocks ;)
The entrance fee is expensive unless you are an English heritage member when it’s free but well worth going in for the excellent museum Iron Age village and shuttles to the stones the shop is great
The rock cakes are superb 😂 The view of the stones is wonderful in the right light.
Beautiful visitor center . Great place to grab a bite if you're on an all-day tour . Clean bathrooms . Neat stuff to look at in the gift shop -- though, it was pretty pricey .
Download the “stonehenge audio guide” from the Play or App Store. You don’t need to wait to pick one up from the visitor center .
Even if the entry price a bit expensive(15£), it is worth to go there... Don't expect a huge area to walk.
Cute little visitor center with everything you could need. The hot cocoa is perfect after a rainy day at Stonehenge
Its pretty new, nice architecture and free WiFi to download the audio guide for free.
Excellent 360 degree experience through 5000 years and a small exhibition featuring tools and materials used in the making of Stonehenge.
Ancient burial ground of Druids and Beakers, don’t skip Visitor’s Centre and walk from here to the monument if you have time.
Very informative and interesting exhibition . Can spend some time in this part.
Queue can be pretty long; better to buy online and pick up the tickets. That'll also save you some money
Food in the café not bad, toilets clean , even during the Easter mid term. Exhibition nice but can get over crowded ,be early.Pity that some people prefer to go counter clockwise missing the Heal stone .
The Cornish pasties in the café are actually really good (also giant and filling)
A journey between the realm of death and the realm of the living.
Great centre but get your tickets in advance to avoid the queue
Expensive to get in but there's a free bus from the visitor centre to the stones . Lots of toilets and the cafe isn't that pricey
Everybody has to go at least once in a lifetime, and never come back again
Loved it. Must see
Free wifi at the visitor center only. Download the Stonehenge guide app!
Experience world famous place besides that nothing hahahaha.
Get audio guide to understand about Stonehenge!
Waiting to get a ride to Stonehenge in the Land Rover Defenders is well worth a wait.
Had a great time, staff were brilliant.
Take the bus to the stones don't try to walk!
Beware of the water quality in the bathrooms/WCs. Washing your hands with the sink water can leave your hands smelling like sewage :(
Audio visual presentation and display of archaeological exhibits .
Cold, rainy blustery day but this is amazing. A must see!
Huge restrooms that are clean . Buy overpriced souvenirs.
What a place it is! Love to there again
worth to see
Cold day but good view .
Worth going, funny story, although quite unknown
Cill weather
a beautiful modern structure
Great souvenirs!
Ruins and visitor center
The entire area
Very interesting
The exhibition
Tómatelo con tiempo y haz el trayecto andando. Pero ojo al tiempo, cambia muy rápido y te puede pillar un chubasco.
Museo muy sencillo no regresaría
Pahalı tabiki
Супер круто
Os lanches frios são bem gostosos
Not sure about the bad rating. It’s decent. Hot & cold food options, coffee, drinks, lots of seating, friendly staff. Great scones and fairly priced. What’s not to like?! - Beth Gossip
We love coming up here, the kids love to fly their kites (and have a cheeky ice-cream) ;) - Andrew Mackenzie
Rocks in the middle of nowhere, but still AMAZING! The landscape is gorgeous too. - Cristal Ribeiro
Just breathtaking well worth spending the time when you are at Stonehenge to go here too - Daniel Russell
The best place in Bath! So amazingly interesting and beautiful! Must get the audio guide, just wish tourists weren't so disrespectful - Georgia M
