Some of the best trail running around. Wonderful bathrooms and water at the trail head. These trail will take you miles and miles into fountain hills if wanted. Grab a map before you go out and enjoy!
I love hiking the Gateway Trail. Bring LOTS of water, a camera and just take your time. So many rush past so they can get their workout, but they miss the ever changing beauty!
If you are hiking this loop I would do it clockwise but if you are mountain biking it I would do it counter-clockwise.
Awesome hike ! Pretty mellow 3.6 miles with a few steep parts.
