Great atmosphere, lovely ales and food and the best pub quiz in town each Tuesday. A great boozer, worth a visit anytime
Not the cheapest place in town , but the cask ale is spot on and the staff know what they're doing. Well worth a visit.
This is one of my favourite pubs and certainly the one I go to most. Always well kept real ale on and right next to the station. :)
Make an effort to pop in for a pint because they make the effort to make sure the beer is very good.
Beer was very good, and the company excellent. Read more
Liked the complimentary pub food :) handy location
There is a painting of a monkey in the gents toilets . I think it is possessed ghostbusters 2 style.
A nice pub with a good mix of types and a selection of guest beers . Not a typical 'next to a station' pub . Be careful crossing the road though :)
Its a long time since I had a beer in here, used to be a great spot, must try soon
Try sunbeam, it's really good.
A good traditional pub . Just won north west real ale pub of the year!
