Dates venue but that adds to it's character. You can't help but feel like you're a big part of the show experience. Sound quality is excellent and there's an intimate atmosphere . Great music venue !
Not in a great location if you queue for many hours, although there's Tesco and McD's nearby. Box office opens at 5 on the day of the event . Separate line for o2 priority. Good sound, sturdy barrier.
Fantastic live music venue full of character with an excellent sound system - watched so many hear gigs here
Old school gig venue. Grundgy carpets & seats. Expensive drinks (circle bar much quieter )... But great acts and decent sound system .
Get a drink in the Circle Bar before the main act. Always quieter than downstairs
Only the tiny bar upstairs takes card with a minimum spend of a fiver. And if leave for a cashpoint you can’t get back in. Great venue, O2.
Great little venue. Funny seeing outsiders and students not realising the area they're in, too.
Appalling management, doors were made open at 2000 hrs when concert should have started at 1930 hrs, till that time everyone was waiting on road in a long queue.....:
Even if you're in the standing area, head upstairs to the Circle bar to get drinks - the extra distance is worth not having to wait to be served.
Aging and increasingly decrepid with little nostalgic value. Sound system also well below par.
Good acoustics , bar .
Great venue. The stalls minus seats is sloped - so you can still see even at the back!
Not the most disabled-friendly venue: no strobe warnings on accessible entry, & tickets are drastically- & artificially- limited for wheelchair users or anyone needing a seat at standing gigs.
Great venue, bit outdated but atmosphere is good.
Great venue!
Venue is ok but not enough bar staff on. Took nearly 45 mins to get a drink at the radio 2 party and missed shalamar
That beer someone threw over you from behind- it wasn't beer !
Pretty good considering it's pretty old.
It was amaaazing concert
Bouncers nicked a bottle of Pepsi . I can understand booze but wtf?
Beer weak and pricey . Faint smell of wee - the stalls, not the beer , that is. Mr Stevens better be good - Sufjan, that is - not the Head of Catering on the Death Star....
Nearest cash machine is at the garage across the road
Drink before you come in here. Pint and double vodka £10.10. Fuck that
There isn't car parks either side so follow signs instead. Smh
Beware: a can of Carlsberg will set you back £3.80 and the bouncers will check your bag for booze on the way in. Disgusting!
Oh my god whats that smell???
too expensive :) you better think twice!
Fantastic variety of music on offer - cheap parking next door, and Kro bar cross the road for pub food! - Tastebuds
Concerts. Sound system not brilliant but good atmosphere with the right band. - Bijan Young
If you're going to a gig at the Apollo then stay in here as long as possible so you don't have to pay 3.80 a pint - Andrew Manwaring
One of the better branches in the city where food quality and opening hours are concerned. Friendly staff too. I often end up here (sometimes with new friends!) after gigs at the Apollo. - Tria Hall
£4.05 for a single G&T is steep (and I've lived in London a few years!!) - nights with drink offers are best! :) - Gari Wellingham
