Amazing breakfast ! Biscuits and gravy were to die for, the breakfast sandwich on Texas toast ? Genius. And the pop tarts are such a yummy treat. Call ahead to put your name on the list.
Homemade chocolate cream pie is so rich, not too sweet, creamy & yummy! Thomas is one of the best host I met in a while. Great job! He gives great recommendations & looks like he enjoys his job here!
This ain't your grandma's shake . While admiring the retro decor , belly up to the bar to order one of this eatery 's adult milkshakes , spiked with liqueurs and other sophisticated additions. Read more
Very generous portion here. I still finish the whole plate. Tastes so good - great comfort food . Love their cooking style - they don’t overuse salt! Definitely will return. Service is Wonderful too!
This place was recommended by many locals in DC ! I would say it is the perfect place for brunch ! Home made Pop tarts MUST HAVE ! ????
The “cinnamon roll as big as your head” is no joke! The cream cheese frosting comes in a gravy boat and the whole thing is yummy. Only available on the weekends, and until supplies last!
Portions here are no joke. The chicken 'n biscuits was about 3x more biscuits than I expected. Also, I just realized that I have been eating crappy hash browns my whole life until now!
What can I say sometimes you find a neighborhood treasure and teds is it. Adult shakes a must home made poptarts (bacon peanut butter ) eggs and homemade corn beef hash with cubes of real cornbread .!!!
Ted's has transformed the Pop-Tart into legitimate pastry . They fill handmade , almost cakey crusts with homemade jams , fresh berries , brown sugar , and peanut butter and bacon . Read more
Of course, must try the pop tarts (salted caramel is the best!). Before indulging, recommend the fried chicken : succulent, and perfectly seasoned.
Came here for late breakfast . Friendly staff . T.U.B.S. sandwich was awesome, and oh, the pop tart . Brown Sugar Cinnamon is the way to go! Hubby said the peanut butter bacon one was pretty good too!
service is little bit slow specially during the weekend but foods and drinks are really good. their draft beer options is restricted comparing to their arlington branch but dc ipa is still goooood
Classical milkshakes . Big portions . Great for breakfasts . It gets very crowded during the weekend. Good option in the area. Ideal for groups and families. Recommended.
Do a Sunday with friends but make it an early reservation or go later like 1:30 2...the crowd seemed to die down and you still can enjoy the food, company, and nostalgia.
The kids’ “Mr.Breakfast” is a generous portion and adorable! We added the scrambled egg for our two under 4 kids to share.
A staple in a Capital Hill diet. Great sandwiches and dining menu. You feel as though your negotiating the next great piece of legislation just be being part of the crowd! Do it!
Delicious food. Exceptional environment. Really good cocktails . Staff is warm and thoughtful. Must visit restaurants in DC. Do try out their breakfast .
Grab a seat at the bar , its the best seat in town ! Split the Big Mark Breakfast and a Baileys Carmel Macchiato with a brown sugar cinnamon pop-tart - best start to the day!!
Heath Almond . From the bar , you can see workers mix up 16 shake flavors, including s’mores and caramel macchiato , while adults can indulge in the White Russian and Nutty Professor boozy versions. Read more
I spoke too soon. The Millionaire Bar , Ted's rendition of a home made Twix bar , was amazing. Also... They make their own Ho Ho's! I mean seriously! Could this place be ANY BETTER?!
The ham Benedict and the breakfast burrito were prepared perfectly. Portions were generous!
Lots of good options. Love the gumbo , and the peanut butter bacon burger . They will tell you the cinnamon roll is amazing, but other than being huge and pricey , it's nothing special.

Very good food and shales but the portions should be considered to share. At least for Europeans.
My favorite place to eat brunch in DC. Amazing home made pop tarts .
The White Russian adult milkshake is pretty good, but dangerous. Also, all the burgers can be made with a veggie burger , which is nice.
Pop tarts , milkshakes , breakfast ... All incredible. Maybe not the best spot for dinner foods, but definitely for breakfast & brunch .
So many options and most are excellent, great for breakfast but also for a burger and shake at lunch or dinner .
TV Dinner Thursdays are great; order it and you'll feel like you're back at your cafeteria (except with more delicious food).
Best milkshake I've ever had, pop tart was ok! Too much salt in the soup but overall highly recommended!
Great menu, excellent food, the pop tarts are fantastic, a must do place in DC
We are all pop for Brown Sugar Pop Tarts (5/5 NOMs)! Stop by and try some home made desserts .
Great breakfast food ... they have turkey sausage , the cheese grits are so good... and so is the smoked chicken salad sandwich ...
Two words: homemade pop tarts ! It's kid-central on weekend mornings but breakfast is served up all day. Follow it up with a spiked milkshake and you're set for the weekend. Read more
Meatloaf sandwich , pretzels and beer cheese dip , Ted's burger all outstanding!
Breakfast burrito was fantastic. A little mild, for my southern taste, but fresh and delicious.
The cheesy grits and chicken and biscuits are excellent!
Best brunch in all of D.C. hands down. Pop tarts are a must. Everything else is incredible.
Homemade pop tarts , milkshakes to die for and great ambience makes this a must try for anyone!!! <3

The Southwest (West Virginia) burger is incredible. One of the absolute best burgers I've ever had. You definitely need to try it.
Great choices for breakfast , but be prepared to wait! The hash and pancakes were excellent.
Comfort food of a crowd-pleasing variety, including home-made pop tarts and several milkshakes , some with booze. Very friendly service .
The backyarder burger and a poptart , can't go wrong! Check this place out at a time when Eastern Market isn't open and you won't have to wait for hours.
The homemade pop tarts are a must try! The breakfast was amazing and the service was great!
Fried chicken and biscuits are amazing, ask for extra honey .
Best Pop Tarts ever! But why does the Pastry Chef , Rebecca, always make those weird faces? It's the Latino worker bees that do all the work anyhow...
Homemade Pop Tarts are a must. A familiar taste for anyone experienced in pan dulce Mexicano.
Greek yogurt parfait = heaven in a cup❤ and don't miss their famous poptarts ????
