Enjoyed being a part of the NY NOW trade show here. The staff were very friendly . Recommend bringing your own water and food if you're an exhibitor as concessions can get somewhat pricey .
This massive convention center has a total area space of 1,800,000 square feet! On a smaller note, the center contains an intimate plaza of neon green benches . Read more
The water fountains are sort of hidden, but there are actually a lot of them in Javits. Just walk toward the bathrooms and they'll be on the red-painted walls before you actually go into the bathroom .
Also, if you're going to sell your liver to eat there, make sure you try a gyro from the Greek joint in the basement . It's actually delicious. Still too pricey though!
Well organized and safe environment for the marathon fair ! New Balance was a 100% everything. Expecting more energy and fun!
Incredible architecture & site. Attended Fancy Food Convention , came home w/ 6 large bags of gourmet samples, donated another 6 bags to charity . Spent the whole day here, yet too big to see everything
If you go to the New York International Auto Show here don't forget about the North hall. Some of the cleanest and least used bathrooms in the whole convention center too. If you go Saturday go early!
for New York Comic Con tickets, keep an eye on their Twitter/Facebook pages to know when they go on sale. Typically its in Spring. Also if you work in a creative field , apply for a Pro pass its cheap !
I go here for NY auto show every year, the setup is nice and looks very appealing. Excited to see how it looks every year.
Auto show was great. Big gripe with lack of outlets to recharge phones. So much hype about social media and then 3 charging stations for thousands of ppl.
The NY Waterway is also a convenient and quick way to get to the Javits Center from across the Hudson River , and only one block from the Javits Center.
Good luck trying to find an outlet to charge your phone. You'll think in this day and aged they'll have many outlets available.
Plenty of cool events and conventions here. Lots of construction surrounds the building, though, so be careful. Is now accessible by Subway. Mega and Bolt Bus stop right across the street.
Super huge convention center . Easy to get to, clean , always organized , friendly people and absolutely love that Toy Fair is there!
Atop the Javits Center, there is a 6.75-acre green roof, which reduces heat gain and prevents approximately 6.8 mil. gallons of storm water run-off annually. Read more
Did you know? We have a Citi Bike station directly outside Javits Center - at 34th St and 11th Ave. Grab a bike and go uptown, across town , or downtown!
Beautiful structure . They used to have an open balcony in the back that looked out over the Hudson but for some reason now it's been closed.
Wear comfy shoes place is massive&prep for various temperatures throughout the floors&offices. Pigeons love this place too!
Great place to look at stuff in a large building!
If you need to take a cab outta here, try and do it as early as possible. 5pm is not the time for success. If you have to leave after 5, use ground link.
The place in NYC for exhibits and shows. New York auto show that happens here every year is a must watch
Don't forget there are multiple happy and floors. Plan your day accordingly.
Bring your own water bottle or reuse the one in you hand at filtered fill stations near rest rooms.
Secret elevator behind escalators (beside escalator). Get to lunch before noon to beat the lines when sessions let out.
Great event space and the greatest welcome for the #TCSNYCMarathon runners!
Great space for conventions . And afterwards you can walk along the Hudson River .
Great venue but come during the week to many kids on the weekend
This place is huge, if you come here wear comfortable shoes . You're guaranteed to be on your feet for hours
Huge home of NY Now, ENK Coterie, NSS... the ???? show... among many other conventions and exhibitions .
Beautiful entrance space, limited dining options.
It's a convention center ! Love the fancy food show
Great place to hold a decent size convention but there is poor reception in the place. Also, I wish it would expand to be larger.
The convention center where you need to set up your booth and there are NO escalators or elevators working! Nice!
While there is a @Starbucks in the Convention Center - you'd be better off grabbing your coffee before you get here - the line is long!
Eat before you arrive because the onsite food is expensive . There are also quick, casual restaurants within a few blocks.
Lots of different event/conventions on. Make sure to bring comfy shoes , this place is huge!
Get coffee at Old Country Coffee on 34th instead of Starbucks here. It’s less expensive and tastes better.
There are usually two Sabrett carts. For some reason, one can have a long line while 200 feet away, no line at all. Don't waste time waiting. Check the other!
The great Fair Exhibition place in Newyork.Incrediable architecture .
The bathrooms should have more stalls though. You are allowed to bring in outdoor drinks/food which is awesome.
Great expos and neat events
Cool looking building, but it's not big enough for an event like New York Comic Con .
New Yorkers walk fast and with a purpose. If you're a tourist you better be ready for that.
Great bar up the street from Javits Center at ink48, a Kimpton hotel : The Press Lounge , located on the 16th floor w/killer views + cocktails ... Read more
Be comfy when you come here. Expect a lot of walking.
Try the Sabrett Hot Dogs - Better than your average street hot dog and pretty much the only thing I'd eat even if I wasn't hungry and stuck at NY Comic Con .
Lovely great space! Definitely wear something comfy
If you are hungry don't worry, the food is delicious there!
A signal is very hard to come by inside the building. Coordinate with your friends before entering the Batcave.
Here is a tip to the convention center , add heating ducks between main entry doors, and or better insulate that area as well
Great show. Lots to see. Many exhibits on the lower floors. If you have the chance to do the Jeep ride. Go for it! - Scott Pflugler
Went for Westminster Agility trials. Was very impressed. Pretty well organized and good use of the space. - Danny Katz
Always a great space to have an event... Party or show, it's all good - Nancerella
A really elegant venue with gorgeous views of the East River. Suggest for chic events and large conferences. - Kristin Booker
Beautiful space to stroll or take a seat. Try one of the vendors selling tasty tacos, ice cream or coffee. - Julie Soscia
