Tip!!! Eat outside on the deck and order your food from the walk up counter. It's the same exact excellent seafood that is served inside the restaurant at half the cost with no server. Worth it.

Best raw clams in cape may. Order from the raw bar or take out bar and eat outside. Better prices than actual restaurant inside. Steamed lobster is a 10. Gets crowded fast!

Late lunch 3:00pm on a Saturday got a table right away. Sat on the boat out back and got the chicken lobster and subbed out the shrimp salad and had lobster salad on top. Amazing! Piña coldas A-plus!

Well worth the wait. Food was delish. Lobster bisque was soo smooth. The lobster , shrimp & scallop linguini was amazing. Evan the apple sauce was yummy! But was not a big fan of the crab imperial.

Four Star, definitely worth the wait! The Filet Mignon with béarnaise was absolute perfection. Everything is made in-house including the bread & salad dressings . Side note: No free refills on soda .

The bread they give you is amazing, onion poppy loaf and the butta, it's butta! This place is top notch

The seafood on the Lobster House Specialty is very good (lobster , scallops , shrimp ) but the linguine is overcooked and SWIMMING in butter. Their swordfish is great.

The is the one seafood restaurant we always hit when we come to the shore . It is a must , no place better! It's worth the wait! You must try a 3lb lobster or even a 4 or 5 pounder!

Everything is fantastic. Best raw clams ! Jonah crabs , cream of crab soup and shrimp melt are my favorites.. East outside!

Go out back to the American Schooner and order from the Raw Bar . A pitcher of Blue Moon and a dozen oysters is the perfect lunch !

Go to the take out counter, and bring your food outside if you don't new a fine dining experience. Better yet, bring home a fresh catch for dinner !

Soft shell crab was delicious. Note at least on lunch menu you get 1 crab with entree. Kid meal clam strips was very generous portion however.

Always a great meal! If you are alone instead of the big dinning room try the diner part of the restaurant .

Plan on a wait for a table during regular dinner hour. Our party of six arrived later in the evening (8:30pm) and was seated right away.

Scallops and oysters very tasty. Disappointed not to see a lobster roll on the dinner menu . My friend got a lobster salad which looked dreadful. Everything else was tasty though.

Pro Tip - if it’s crowded when you arrive, don’t take a number to order, call it in. Waited an hour, still had not even called our number to order. Called it in from lobby, was ready for p/u in 25m

Skip the restaurant do the take out and raw bar instead and sit out on the docks! Go after lunch rush and relax.

The apps, salad , and dessert is delicious. My lobster tail was chewy and too tough to enjoy.

The lobster sandwich is out of this world. Put a generous helping of horseradish on it. Yummmmm

"Lobster House Special " is a good way to go. Generous portions of lobster tail , scallops , and shrimp over linguine for around $24. Also comes with a salad and vegetable . Delicious!

BBQ CLAMS are a must to get, and sit outside on there pier deck

Love the bar in this place. Food is good. Nice place for a family dinner .

My favorite sea food place, get a drink on the schooner whether you walk on to it or dock your boat and climb up like I sometimes do.

Don't forget the Diner when it's packed to the gills. Greatest breakfast in Cape May too!

Next time I'm trying the lobster . It looked fabulous. Stuffed shrimp was good too. Didn't care for the sides too much.
