Really surprised this place is not rated higher. Came here for the first time after working in the area for years and it was awesome. Spaghetti pesto was perfectly Al dente and eggplant parm delicious

The local Italian restaurant that has become a fixture to DUMBO. Highly recommend brunch and while I frequent Almar often for lunch , dinner is where it’s at!

Brunch menu is stellar. Ricotta bruschetta w/ truffle oil was light and sweet. I had the risotto with two eggs and a side of thick cut bacon . For a drink I had Bloody Mary and mimosa . A+ bartender

I was with my 2 year old grandson, his 2 year old friend..we were seated towards the back w/high chairs.Our waitress was wonderful & totally understood children. Nice place,awesome drinks!

The BLT Panini & Rigatoni Pasta was delish, love the lightness of the food. I wish there was more drink options though, my fav was the 111

Quality 2 for 1 happy hour with grade A cocktails is the best drink deal in DUMBO IMHO. Makes up for the fact that this place is cash only .

The window-walled Front Street eatery serves fittingly fresh Northern Italian dishes , from octopus small plates and various crostini to braised rabbit and champagne cocktails .

Get the egg toast . The egg on a cloud is the showy one, but the flavor of the egg toast is a straight mouth orgasm.

Amazing service. Cheese selections are delish. Menu is best in Dumbo. Bring cash and don't wait to use the bathroom - only one in the place (said the pregnant lady).

The whole roasted branzino is always perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh. The gnocchi is really nicely done when it is on the menu.

Excellent wine list , delicious food, honest staff .. Try anything. Currently eating the rabbit and it is delicious. A favorite.

If you want a break from the typical cafe scene, this is a decent bar to drink a couple refillable cups of coffee and read.

Get the verdura panini , which is better once you stuff it with its accompanying salad . The caprese is also decent, though you can get an identical sandwich anywhere.

Get the butternut squash soup and a half sandwich (goat cheese and grilled veggies )

The grilled octopus is amazing! Sadly, there was a stray hair in my cheese crostini , but the waiter brought us a new one, and comped us desserts .

The cavatelli with seafood is simple, fresh and delicious and doesn't skimp on the shellfish . An all around excellent deal.

Olive oil cured tuna salad (niçoise ) and chilled white gazpacho soup = best summer lunch .

Service and food are terrible. The place was not crawded at all and we took one hour for being served. Our waiter even forgot to bring us silverwear so we had to get them at the counter by ourselves.

The sandwiches have too much bread and the pancakes are too dense. Not a bad spot if you're in DUMBO though.
