baked & wired > georgetown! line may look long, but it moves by pretty quickly so utilize the time to pick from the variety of delicious flavors. The simple strawberry or chocolate are personal faves.
Absolutely amazing Cupcakes . The flavor are unique and delectable. Would highly recommend the chai cupcake for chai lovers. The prices are reasonable and the service is prime. worth the hype.
Weekends are the best time to sample traditional pies , including peach , mixed berry and pecan , at this spot. On weekdays, it's best to call ahead or visit the shop's Twitter feed (@bakedandwiredDC). Read more
Skip the lines at Georgetown Cupcakes and head around the corner to this local favorite. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but our favorite is the Peanut Butter Sin-Wich. Read more
I can see why it's ranked number 1 for cupcakes in DC ! Wow. So moist and flavorful (I got the Rasmanian Devil). Don't forget their other baked goods though. So. Good. (S'mores bar )
This place is amazing! The lines are long, but move super fast!! Had the Elvis, Dirty Chai , Vegan and Red Velvet . Can recommend all of these and probably all the other ones too ;)
They use coffee from some of the best roasters. They use the Stumptown House Blend for their drip coffee , which is one of my favorites. They also have a great menu of espressos and pour overs.
Cupcakes . Cake cups. Brownies . This bakery is out of this world. Better than gtown cupcake . Expect a line but it's worth the wait. Chocolate doom and Ménage e trois good place to start.
Ordered the vegan cupcake and dirty chai . I must say, for $4 each, it's worth it. The cupcake is moist, dense, and rather large. Note: the dirty chai is rather sweet and has a slight caramel taste.
THE spot to go for a good breakfast to go in Georgetown, probably in DC. The chive and goat cheese biscuit , spinach and feta quiche and banana bread were all stellar...paired with a killer coffee bar .
Gluten free ice cream sandwiches made with cookies ? Is this what heaven feels like? Line was out the door when we left but it was quiet when we arrived. Really cool place to sit in the back area.
Stumptown cappuccino 4 oz soy $3.75, scoop Hippie Crack granola overly sweet $1.85. Locals hang, large space . Vegan baked goods galore
Excellent baked goods here from cupcakes to zucchini loaves! The coffees , lattes and mochas are all amazing at this almost hidden local gem in Georgetown! Highly recommend!!
Cupcakes are the best I have ever had! Got the one with candied bacon (can't remember the name). Also really good cold brew ! Love the cold brew ok draft and that's how they have it here.
Delicious selection of cupcakes , cakes , ice cream sandwiches . Great place in the area. Sitting is limited and is often crowded . Ideal to take something for takeaway . Highly recommended
Best cupcakes in DC - HANDS DOWN! My favs are the carrot , Karen's, vanilla , vegan , German chocolate . I also love the pumpkin gingerbread - its usually on the wired side. The Au Lait is great as well .
If you're lucky enough to nab a slice or a fruity handpie (bigger than a slice but smaller than a whole pie ), visit the friendly baristas for freshly whipped cream . Read more

Only four outdoor tables , but unlike the rest of DC, I feel safe leaving my pup tied up near the door (and Zilla's water bowl !) to run in and get homemade dog biscuits . The staff love petting her. :)
This place is like a heaven. We had chocolate cupcakes with a latte and a black eye coffee . Delicious. Skip the long queue to Georgetown cupcakes and have an amazing one here!
The best cupcake I've ever had. Amazing flavor selections, great price, and unimaginably delicious.
Moist and flavorful even after transporting these little ones back to California. Get an iced dirty chai with strawberry , tessita, flapjack or a little bit of hippie crack . Can't go wrong with that.
Best Cupcakes in Georgetown! Forget all the other locals and make this your only stop! Great variety with inventive flavors!
This hip Georgetown spot will keep you on your feet!If you visit Baked and Wired in the springtime, you NEED to try their seasonal, Cherry Blossom cupcake . Read more
The cupcakes are so good, but very rich and sweet. Anything you get will be delicious, but get ready to drink some water with your first bite.
This spot had me hooked and I was only in town for a couple of days. Come for the amazing cupcakes , quiche , and coffee then stay a little longer cause everyone is so darn nice! Seriously.
Georgetown classic! More homespun & creative than competitor down the street. Love the Pretty Bitchin ' (PB) and moist, chocolatey TX Sheetcake. Great coffee , cozy seating area. Staff is knowledgeable .
The most delectable, fluffy cupcake I've ever had. The line is long but SO worth it! I loved the strawberry !
The "Oh my God" is delicious. Also, one of the best soy lattes I've had - ever. Velvety smooth and rich flavor. Highly recommend (although there is usually a long line , order your coffee first).
All what I can say : its really wired ... I tried to be open minded but ... Never a chocholate browny with creamy cheese again ???? .. I am so classical I guess
I am from Seattle, so when I moved to DC I had to find and try every coffee shop , and sadly none compared. Then I found Baked and Wired...now I can stay in DC. Try the iced latte ...soooo good.
The name says it all. On the baked side: vegan pies , cookies and fruit-filled cupcakes in easy-to-peel-back wax paper. On the wired side: coffee from quality brands like Stumptown and Counter Culture .
Right across the street from my office . I love the atmosphere, the people and the sweets. Oh yeah they have good Chai "stuff". The dirty chai is my favorite.
The fact that there is no Wi-Fi here is so liberating. There aren't people here camping out (taking up space) hours on end sipping on the same cup of coffee . Cupcakes here are the best in Georgetown.
I had the Vegan Oreo cupcake (I’m not vegan ) but it was delicious!! Loved the little place! A very nice & cozy feeling place. :)
The Lil Bertha cookie is some kind of wonderful. Two big oatmeal cookies bound together by butterscotch flavored whoopie pie filling.
The most delicious bakery in the city- order a soccer mom bar or a bee sting cookie . Be sure to take a photo on the pink bike on your way out, it’s always parked outside.
The tallat (Cortado ) is amazing ! Pair with a lemon/red velvet cake-top pastry (& expect to find this no where else in the world! )
Coffee and drinks to the right, baked goodies to the left. Both have their own registers to take payments. When lines aren’t long, you can pay for both at the same register
Pretty Bitchin ' = highly recommended for PB and chocolate lovers; frosting was incredibly peanut-buttery and rich. My friend loves the Razmanian Devil. Strawberry was pretty good too, nothing special
without question the best strawberry cupcake I have ever tasted. tasted like strawberry exactly. the frosting is sweet pale pink and just enough.
Everything...I like the Bee Stings...That's what got me hooked + the variety of bakery treats if you get tired of the cupcake craze
The blondie was yummy but I'm glad I split it with my mom because it was way too sweet for my taste. Good place of you love brownies (and sugar). Good for kid-friendly treats.
Good coffee and great cupcakes (lots of interesting flavors). Usually crowded and they don't have wifi or large tables, so I wouldn't go there to do work.
one of the best cupcakes in the city and definitely one of the best coffee shops -- great service, great food, can't go wrong. And no line like some other over-hyped places... Read more
Delicious bakery with amazing cupcakes ! Also heard they have good coffee
I come here every time I'm in DC. ❤️ Best coffee in town . #️⃣1️⃣ Delicious cupcakes . ????

I overheard someone mention it to a friend in the street and decided to go. These cupcakes are big, worth the cost, and the coffee drinks are tasty too!
