If u r a fan of the chwee kueh at Tiong Bahru market , u will find the ones here softer & stickier. Chai por topping is salty
Thumbs up for this stall manned by the old couple since way back when. Tasty and salty chai poh with those flour cakes is simply heaven.
#01-54: Salty chai po and sticky chwee kueh. Selling at 4 for $1.60.
Still one of the most appetizing Chwee Kway that I've eaten before.
The kuay itself isn't so soft, but Chai por is tasty & not as oily as Tiong Bahru version
Good Chwee Kway . Always tasty.
Losing its mojo . Chwee kway was mushy — either too much water or oversteamed. Also very little toppings given ????????
the chwee kuehs r nice...taste is like last time...old school flavour in d 80s : )
best chwee kuey around.
Most famous chwee kway in town !
Good durians here, but you wait 1 hour in the line. They have moved to the temporary structure at 150A Ghim Moh Road. - Jeannie
Their appams here are probably the best in Singapore, in terms of consistency & fluffiness. Enjoyed it plain, with egg or butter - Cheen The Curious
Braised duck cooked to perfection. Rice was well flavoured. Best duck rice I've had in years! - Shen Tan
This uncle makes the dry version of rojak. The ingredients are not drenched and he offers chilli and sweet sauce on separate saucers. Clean tasting and delicious! - Feli xx
The chai po portions are so generous, salty and yummy. Goes so well with the soft rice cakes. Guilty pleasures definitely worth repaying in the gym! - Elizabeth Lee
I love the peanut ang ku kueh. The filling is huge and I always order two as I really can't resist it. There are many other flavors available ie. yam, mango etc. - Jasmine Quek
