A great selection of wine from across the globe. Ask for a taste if you're not sure. The pours here are generous. To accompany the wine , get the cheese and meat plate and the Greek olives .

Intimate, chill spot to grab and drink and catchup with 1-2 people (not too many more, it's a small & narrow space). Good happy hour deal if you can get there before 6:30.

The space is a bit cramped and the seating is a little uncomfortable, but it's a cute spot nonetheless. If you're ordering a glass, ask to taste it first, because bartender skipped that step with me.

Possibly the most civilized beer spot in the East Village . No sports on TV (no TV ), you can carry a conversation without shouting and a well thought out selection of beers .

Nice little spot. You'll get more out of it on a date. Because alcohol and aphrodisiac. Or something. Pretty good prices, considering the zip code. So you can afford to take your date to dinner too.

This is my first time stop by and I was so surprised that their Boudreaux blend red is so smooth, love it! Absolutely worth the price to me given that I grew up in wine county near Cornell University

One of the best-kept secrets in the East Village . This quaint little wine bar has Brooklyn beer on tap , good music , and a fantastic atmosphere. Talk to the owner, Jason, if you get a chance.

An East Village gem. During weekends it's super chill , with always a friendly bartender and good rotating beer list to enjoy.

Romantic yet chill hangout for wines , craft brews , artisanal cheeses and charcuterie plates . 

Tempranillo is your perfect match if you like a good Spanish wine . Aromatic, red fruit aromas, savory rather than sweet, tobacco and spice flavors. Pair with any cheese but avoid blue cheese .

The best of every type of drink so you don't need to think. Great for smaller groups or an intimate night. Try the rodenbach or the cider .

Get the orange wine called “Orange”. The safest bet is to randomly pick- trust your gut. Great service and relatively intimate .

Jason, the owner, is the nicest guy you'll meet. Super knowledgable about wines and beers . Pull up a stool and chat him up. Also, the tempranillo is solid. Have some.

It can get pretty crowded so get there early- esp. if you want the cute table in the back by the window. Order the rose . Best I ever had.

Cool double sided wine vs beer . But it's pretty small so hard to get a seat.

Bartenders are great at handling the flow from standing, to sitting at bar , to sitting at the tables in the back. They have a system.
