Go on a day when it is partly cloud or showers are passing by. Looks cool! Also, go in the winter time when they are open after dark to get a night view of the city !

Corey Partin

The view is amazing and well worth the $8 fee. Bring a camera to capture aerial views of the skyscrapers , St. Paul, Mall of America and several suburbs. Go on a clear day for the best experience!

$5 for students. Getting tickets at the front desk with people who check in at the hotel . Dip the card in the elevator and its at 30th floor.

Cheng

Only the elevator all the way to right will take you up here. Make sure to grab it from the lobby as it has its own call button.

You get to see a good view of MSP

Elevator 4 is the only one that goes to the Observation Deck. The tower was a memorial to the washington memorial.

Best view of Downtown and the new stadium , if you can stand the wind!

One of the greatest pyramid scheme's ever resulted in this building that's on the historical registry. Not even Madoff left us with a skyscraper .

Jake Smith

Find out what building a young Foshay was inspired by, which led him to construct this building after he became successful.

If you're afraid of heights (like me), brace yourself. It's way up there! Also watch the video in the museum first, otherwise it's hard to get perspective on who foshay was.

Jennifer

Trip Advisor lists hours through 9:00 PM but the hotel manager said it actually closes at 5:00 PM.

John Erjavec

Very cool, but watch your head if you are tall, many items to hit your head on (including the elevator door frame).

Brooke Raeker

Best view of the inner city and St. Paul!

Dad used to tell me that at one point, Foshay Tower was the tallest building in Minneapolis!
