Everything about this teahouse is thoughtful. Stefan, Shin, & Andreas all are incredibly knowledgeable about the roasting process and they source their glassware from a small producer in Japan. 10/10
Much needed Zen tea spot in the East Village . Small but thoughtful food menu with sashimi , dumplings and Ochazuke - a bowl of rice , pickled veg and salmon with tea poured over. Extensive tea menu. Go!
Very knowledgable staff that can tell you all about the different teams they have on the menu. You can have multiple infusions of the tea you get which makes it an incredible deal.
The matcha and matcha beer we’re both #fire and basically all teas seem likely to be amazing!
The matcha beer ! More beer than matcha but certainly worth the experience of combining both.
Huge selection of teas and tea-infused alcoholic drinks ! Super quiet and chill
Lovely new teahouse with great teas and snacks
Good space, decent tea . 3/4 of the food not available. Server suggested the sweet bun as one of the few available items. It was hard like when you microwave a leftover bun . Other food not much better.
kind of expensive but excellent and varied tea selections . also try the black sesame sweet.
They also have soju infusions and sparkling teas for something a little different.
Tons of tea selection , place is very classy and quiet .
No more food. No more seat. But beatifull porcelain and fantastic tea to take away !
The wait staff couldn't be bothered to recommend menu items or check in without going to get them. Worst part - we were the only customers. Even though the tea was fine the staff dropped the ball.
I wish this place had decent food. Many items on the list are not actually available. Service is very much lacking. The ambiance misses the mark; not inviting in the least.
Great, authentic matcha experience. Peaceful place. Order matcha in a bowl and watch the process - Dan Hebert
Maybe the best bagel in the city. My favorite, at least. Open Sesame bagel sandwich is so good. Definitely worth a visit, even on a crowded weekend morning. Bring cash! - Jordan Lee
