One of the Best place for a romantic dinner in Paris. Very good onion soup and duck breast . Check also the toilette and the local. Very Historical place for a super restaurant . Super details attention
Voltaire was here preparing the revolution ) so you neeed go to here. The place is expensive ,but for 2 glass of wine ( 10 euros) you can see 18 century restaurant ????
Very authentic interior, the food was more than delicious and the staff is friendly . It’s not as expensive as it is said, at least by the Parisian standard.
Oldest historic restaurant in Paris which intact decor evokes the French Revolution and famous visitors from Napoleon to Franklin. Good local food and polite service .
Oldest Cafe in Paris . Benjamin Franklin and Robespierre ate here among others. In this historic alley lived Danton and Marat leaders of the French Revolution .
A must try in Paris! Very delicious food, incredible polite staff and great atmosphere ???????? onion soup , duck ponfrit, risotto and chocolate cake were awesome ????????
Oldest historic restaurant in Paris which intact decor evokes the French Revolution and famous visitors from Napoleon to Franklin. Good local food and polite service . .
The place for a special occasion :) good food and service! The oldest cafe in Paris and the first place where they started to serve coffee on the terrace
Delicious food and great experience. Try onion soup and beef cheek . 5* friendly staff . Gorgeous atmosphere with relics from the times of French Revolution and Napoléon .
Cuisine raffinée, cadre époustouflant ! Service très agréable ! Awesome French cooking, ambiance amazing full of history ! Waiters very kind.
I've read many negative reviews of this place, but I have no idea why. The food was very good (french soup amazing!), service ok. Place is very authentic .
Napoleon 's hat is in the foyer on the back entrance. You can take a look without having to enter the restaurant . They say Benjamin Franklin penned a good portion of the U.S. Constitution here.
Good food, but not amazing. The real beauty is in the ambiance & history. The service standards also make the dining experience enjoyable. Go here just to say you did, but don't expect to be wowed.
My number one must-see upon my next visit to Paris. The oldest cafè in the world. Sorry, Florian - you come second.
Historical place with a really unique decor . Service was friendly and polite. Food was not as good as expected. Coq au vin was okay, the sauce was pretty watery and you couldn't really feel the wine .
Historical place. I recommend historical plates Tenderloin with foie gras and Calf’s head in a casserole !
Historical place with wonderfull food :) The onion soup is a must have.
It's the oldest restaurant in town founded in 1686z the coq and the duck breast is amazing, seafoods are very fresh
Great place, incredible food, especially traditional. Amazing service!
A great place to taste French cuisine , fine wines and oysters . Good atmosphere and very good service .
Nice place with an historic touch on the left bank . Typical for Paris: one should not expect miracles etiher from service or from cuisine.
stunning! excellent food and service. book ahead to get a table
The tête de veau is great, also yhe the tartare de boeuf
People complain that only Americans go there, but the food is good and it's loaded with history. A bit fancy , perhaps best for dinner .
Food is good one of the oldest restoraunts you have fealing that you eat in bookstore
Oh my goodness this is the best food I’ve had in Paris !! ????✨
Braised beef cheek was very delicious. A very good service and nice atmosphere..
Onion soup was very good but not the steak . But the setting, decor and atmosphere is amazing.
Delicious onion soup and fresh oysters ✌????
A place is a must to visit in Paris for those who love delicious food.
Good food in a historical place. Good service . Pretty pricey .
Don't expect service, then you will be happy.
The waiter approves your selection or cringes based on list price. Never mind him. Food and atmosphere is excellent.
While seafood platters are overrated their meat is very underrated! Try the meat dishes.
Coq au Vin and the ox cheek are great
Try the Empty Plat - To delicious To have time To shoot it. Just go and Enjoy thé Nice place and wonderfull meals
So far the best onion soup I had in Paris ;)
Beautiful location and dining room. Food was not so good (we were part of a group of over 50) but I hear it is nice for smaller groups/couples
Delicious onion soup (with a lot of cheese !)
Bad restaurant . I waited a full hour for my food and it was not served to me. I asked several times, especially the waiter . He was very rude and did not give any attention. Then I left the restaurant
Solid food for a decent price though nothing spectacular (French onion soup , duck breast )
Very good !!! 5 stars ????
Oldest cafe in the world & regular hangout of Napoleon & Voltaire . Super interesting place, but walk in, look around, stay for a coffee/wine, & walk out. Overpriced and mediocre at best.
Onion soup is amazing!

Very nice food. The location is beautiful! Wines are not superb, sorry. Still, a must see in Paris.
Patient waiters worked with our poor French vocab. Great food. Jefferson and Franklin came here in the 18th c.
It was the hub of french revolution . Must see
The service was lovely. They dealt well with my bad French. Tried the calf head . Tres magnifique!
Best of the best "old is gold"
Quintessentially French food - escargots, foie gras, dauphine potato, profiteroles and so on, and so on... for fair price! - Aleksei Kerdiashov
A unique place, open since 1901. Great for a special occasion dinner. Menus for 105€ or 65€, plus a la carte. - Anna Kaminova
The Angelina chicken club sandwich is great to fill your hunger or to share, make sure to order the mont-blanc for dessert ???????? - ???? Lulu ???? .
Long long queues, but worth waiting. Free entrance, both exterior and interior are superb. Must see in Paris. - Artyom Fedosov
One of my favourite parks in Paris. A traditional French park but with some grass spots that are good for a picnic. - Melforss
Get there before it opens for a shorter wait time if you want to enter through the main pyramid. Definitely need to spend a few days to see everything - Siyi
