Great for a post-holiday beer on a Monday afternoon whilst everyone is working. Best enjoyed sunkissed after a trip to Bali. Food is good and even better - cheap with a Taste card.
50% off food Monday to Friday in October 2012 when you reserve a table in advance and register on the website. Great food but it is busy so make sure you book early.

Weird horrible olives but otherwise very tasty food & drink. Some of the staff seem to be utterly dispondant or act like you've just shot their dog. A smile is free & goes a long way :)
The chicken pie had the best pastry I've ever tasted & the seafood pie was gorgeous too.
Been there today for some burgers . Not super exciting. Not too bad as well . Service was very nice though. Beer garden looks ace. Might come back in 'summer'.

Go during the week for a lovely chilled atmosphere, good food and lovely locals.
Pub fish and chips isn't a massively difficult dish to get wrong, but these guys managed it! Tasteless chewy fish in greasy batter and anaemic chips . Won't be rushing back for dinner here.
