Bar snacks are particularly substantial and fresh. Try the Malbec wine too - smoooooth!
Food and service great as usual but no garden so not great for outdoor eating just a handful of tables on the pavement
The pork roast is delicious! The summer fruit crumble was tasty too.
Cosy old school pub for cold winter nights. Sit by the fire if you can
Great gastro pub food , daily specials and weekend roasts!
Great food, ace service & brilliant gin selection !
Should be renamed Abbeville Country Club . Watch out for Jen Simmons by the bar sipping Baileys and on the lookout for a posh shag.
Service is a little slow. But try the pie of the day! It's awesome.
Sticky toffee pudding is amazing.
Great hearty British menu - perfect for Sunday roast - dog friendly
Half price lunchtime food in August. Pint and fish and chips for a rennet. Awesome.
Mega slow and nonchalant service. Food was ok, but pretty uninspiring - nothing I haven't had in [insert generic overpriced gastro pub ]. Beer options were ok. Disappointing for a Timeout Top 10.
Excellent pub near Clapham Common, lovely food and dog friendly , nice atmosphere....
The wifi password is "abbeville1"
What happened?! Awful food - most chewy steak I've had all year. Profoundly disappointed - the staff knew it too - they took my half eaten steak and didn't say a word. In a word: disappointment.
Alright pub in a nice part of Clapham ????
Reminds me of the way The Brewhouse in Oxford used to be, with its MayDay Shilling pints.
Always out does itself on the food front, the perfect local escape from the pubs on the southside....
Manager warns you about table turnaround the moment you sit down, be prepared to eat up!
Roast dinner
Will be showing all World Cup 2014 matches
Great bar man and pint of guest bitter.
Sit with Guinness in hand and watch the snow fall
Disappointed with the cheese board complained about the cheese crust and poor red grapes they served us!
Excellent for a pint of Timothy Taylor, Landlord
Somewhere nice for lunch and to watch the england game this weekend.
Lovely weekend vibe, friendly staff, and deliciously large portions of good. Great place to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon. - Nick Brackenbury
It was gorgeous before but it's a must visit after the refurb, cosy and great looking! - Max Sanna
The chicken pie had the best pastry I've ever tasted & the seafood pie was gorgeous too. - hello_emily
The cafe at the bandstand has *amazing* pasta - try the lasagna... - Dhiraj M
They have the best dough balls with garlic butter ever and the pizza is also really good. - Georgina Jenkins
