San Pedro Park

It's the oldest park in San Antonio & 2nd-oldest park in the U.S. The popular natural spring-fed pool is open throughout the summer. It also has paved hills—great for bike riding—and lots of shade!

A fun area to explore! The swimming pool is beautiful and a must during the dog days of summer!

Francisco Rodriguez, a Canary Island immigrant, in the 1730's, reported to have buried several chests of gold and silver. He died before telling anyone the location, they've never been found. Read more

Watch out here at the playground , there was a man trying to lure two little kids away and he already had them kind of far until a little girl came and told the mom!

Make sure to swim when you get the chance! Come early tues and wed mornings it's not as packed!

This park is the 2nd oldest public park in the US. It has a great little library .

In 1709, Fathers Antonio de San Buenaventura de Olivares and Isidro Felix de Espinosa named the waters "San Pedro Springs." Read more
