Brackenridge Park

Brackenridge park is a huge park with the best duck pond . I love to take bread to feed the ducks and if you pay attention there is a hidden cove that leads you straight to them.

This 343.7-acre park is adjacent to the San Antonio Zoo & River . The park also includes the Japanese Tea Garden with year-round floral displays, stone bridges , and a 60-foot waterfall .

Such a beautiful park ! Wonderful for dog walking! Remember: feed the ducks things like grapes , frozen peas , and lettuce because bread is bad for them!

Pack a picnic . Plan to spend all day. So much to do, could actually take several days to do it all

Stroller Strides is a great way to exercise & meet other Moms. They meet in the park every M,W,F at 9:30 am by the zoo round about.

If you don't mind the homeless and freakshows such as Reiki groups and LARPers its a fun park . The trails are pretty clear for joggers.

Nice, huge, Texas sized park to walk around and take pictures.

You can see tons of egrets nesting in the trees near the pavilion area !

Brackenridge is a great place to come and relax.

Go early and bring tacos

Be sure and go by the conductor's house area and feed and water the stray kitties ! <3 please spay and neuter your animals!

Got caught in the rain! It was BEAUTIFUL, and such a wonderful thing to be caught up in.

If you muster up the courage to attempt having an easter celebration here be prepared for a 3-5 day camp. This place fills up fast and early!!

Great place to just enjoy the outdoors. Lots of fun things to do nearby as well .

Mulberry St. will be closed for 4 months starting on 1/17/10 at the bridge . You will need to find another way into the park .

I'm always finding new places to walk!

Make sure you check out the rock maze on the walkway by the far side of the zoo . Kids love playing hide and seek!
