Their shrimp dumplings are the best by far around Chinatown. A lesser known item is their dried shrimp rice roll . Very good as well . Long lines , though, so be prepared to wait.
Delicious, affordable , dim sum with MASSIVE portions. Lines can get very long if you go at peak times (lunch , etc.). Still, it's more than worth the wait for cheap , tasty food.
The best deal in town . I love their shiumai and steamed veggie and pork buns . They also sell chow mien by the pound. Order at the counter and find a nearby park to eat all the food!
The best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The shrimp dumplings , shiu mai, chive dumplings , sticky rice in lotus leaf , steamed BBQ pork bun , and sesame ball , were phenomenal.
Etymology of the name: Mong Kok is a neighborhood in Hong Kong--one of the most densely populated in the world. Everywhere you go is crowded . So the restaurant has an authentic ethos ????
Great for a to-go lunch but be quick, the ladies don't like when you horse around. Get the har gow and low bok go (turnip cakes ).
Good har gow and steamed BBQ pork buns -- all around solid spot for takeout dim sum if you're willing to wait in line . Make sure to do the math yourself, I got overcharged :(
They sell oversized dim sum dumplings here. They're HUGE pieces of deliciousness.
Delicious food, super cheap , good choice for quick dim sum . No seating, it's a take out place. Service was brusque and impatient, but still worth the price.
Very tasty and authentic dumplings to go. Would definitely go there again. Paid $7 for 8 small and 1 huge dumpling .
it was a strange but cool experience, eating traditional dumplings and pork buns . There's a long line to order, veery cheap and be careful because it seems like small portions but they fulfill.
They're often out of popular items, so choose some backups when looking at the menu or options before you order.
Some of the best dim sum I've had in the US and cheapest food in SF. Good shui mai, and authentic dumplings .
Inexpensive , delicious dim sum with massive portions . Don't let the line scare you. It's cash only so don't forget to stop by the ATM beforehand.
The prices might make you think you're not getting much, but you'd be wrong. Spent a little over $20 here and fed three people for the whole day. I'm partial to the sticky rice here.
Have some change rolling around in your pocket? Grab a pork bun as big as your stomach.
Egg tart here are quite delicate and delicious. Ate 3 in 1 sitting ????
Cheap dim sum . All the staples. Pork buns (steamed and baked), har gow , shui mai, and more
Get the BBQ pork buns . So delish well worth the wait!
Fresh out of the oven egg tart !!! Fluffy crust and warm filling
Preserved egg and pork porridge with custard bun is so good. For a quick meal under $4, nothing can go wrong.
single line outside, but once inside you go to the next open server. If you're at the doorway and next in line , try to block the doorway so no one jumps in front of you. Some ppl try to jump in line .
Pork buns and shrimp dumplings were fantastic. And so affordable . A must go spot.
Super sneaky. They'll try to sell you their less popular flavors (e.g. beef shu mai ) if they can.
They take cards now (Apple Pay accepted). A great deal if you’re okay with a line and taking the food to eat somewhere else. Got enough dim sum for two for under $20.
With $20, you could easily feed a small family... and then another large family... and then King Kong. Basically, they give you a lot of food.
Great value for money . The barbecue pork dumplings are pillowey and divine.
Authentic Dim Sum with pork , chicken or vegetarian . 1$ per bun . Take away only. Check it out!
Dumplings are good, cheap , and huge! Accepts Visa/MC ($5 minimum, which buys a ton of food here).
Try and find a place nearby that u can eat the yummy dumplings while they're still hot. $2.49 gets u 3 yummy dumplings and 1 giant BBQ Bun so come hungry!
Steamed pork buns extra stuffed with meaty goodness and dumplings of all kinds.
Super cheap dim sum to go! Their ha gao and siu mai are huge and delicious.
gigantic portions ! the steamed pork buns and shrimp dumplings are great here.
Recommended for shrimp dumplings and char siu bao pork buns
Huge dim sum . Try the BBQ Pork Buns (steamed or baked) ... YUM!
The line gets long but so worth the wait...everything is good and it's cheap
Awesome Dimsum - ridiculously inexpensive - have to wait in line - moves fast - all take out
The cream bread is often over looked, but a great sweet snack
There's always a long queue. I tried the shrimp dumplings , they were ok, still don't get what's all the fuss about. Take away only by the way
The shrimp and pork shumai are juicy and delicious!!
Really good BBQ pork buns made fresh daily :)
I know a good pork bun and these, my friends, are good pork buns .
Bit over hyped. Take out dim sum was just not the same. Their shu mai were huge and the skin fell off, and they tasted like normal dumplings . Har gow is average. BBQ pork bun was good
Great pork buns . Chinese approved.
Possibly the best dumplings I've had in my life!
Shrimp dumplings , turnip cakes and scallion pancakes !
So cheap it's practically unbelievable. Shrimp dumplings for days here, man.
Ha gow was ok. Filling tasty and fresh, the skin was way too thick. Sticky rice roll filling was not so good, but the rice was good.
Shu mai , har gow , and cha siu bao (those white pork buns )
Try the Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls - Delicious: I'm glad we got this! Had to especially request this from the kitchen. - Tiff Ting
Greatest ha-gows (shrimp dumpling); good pan-fried chive dumplings & rice rolls. - Emily Leung
Crispy cookies! Chocolate flavor also available. It's a very small factory in one of the alleys in China town. You can see them make fresh cookies! 50 cents for a picture! - Divya Menon
We love to sit in the shade here during the day, it's a friendly park, good for groups, families, or just to relax on your own. - Sarah Strehler
