Washington Square Park

Great park for picnicking or just hanging out in general. Went to a movie night here and while crowded , it was still a great time.

We love to sit in the shade here during the day, it's a friendly park , good for groups , families, or just to relax on your own.

Bring your drink, your snacks and great attitude cause this is a great place to hang out and people watch - pets are welcome with responsible owners...

The heart of North Beach , in the shadow of Sts. Peter and Paul Church . A great place to hang out, sip a coffee , and people watch . There are also regular art shows here.

Should you want to see one of the most crowded but beautiful areas of the city . Probably only park w/o a radiant view hovering above the city around it, it's actually a low-set 1, but views nearby.

The San Francisco Neighborhood Theater Foundation hosts a couple movies in the park over the summer. Bring your blanket and bottle of wine !

Get a soda cup from Tony's Slice House pour your beer in it for under cover drinking - or just do it openly, the worst that'll happen is a cop telling you to pour it out.

Never noticed a playground in the north-west corner until a visit with a toddler. More old-school than most: no plastic. Four baby swings .

Great spot to sit and people watch . It's extremely crowded when the sun comes out!

Grab a coffe and croissant from the italian bakery at union and green and watch Tai chi here on a Sunday morning

When it's not too cold or dark, there's usually a group of dog owners who hang out while the pups play. Ramona the Love Terrier is a regular.

Benches on the filter steet side (near the church ) are quiter and get more sun. Get there early for some tai chi

Great place to have a bottle of wine . But beware of people tossing balls, they usually don't aim well .

The park is not a square. The statue is not of Washington. I guess Jefferson Trapezoid Park wasn't a good name?

Use the restrooms at Rogue Public house when the Park 's toilets are closed.

Park etiquette: Its fine if you want to stand up, but don't block my sun.

Bathrooms at the church are usually open. Enter through the door on the left. And give them a donation.
