Excellent food and excellent service. The venison was the best I've had and I heard the sticky toffee pudding was great

Tasty food with true English craft beers !

Good smartphone based pub quiz every month on Wednesdays. Advertised on their Facebook page.

Stephen Dearns

Great food, great atmosphere and even better service. What more could you ask for?

William Devenish

Good but bar area is small compared to size of restaurant area. Also try to avoid restaurant tables near bar as drinkers tend to migrate to restaurant area.

Sharon Dorricott

Great little pub . Good bar food and fantastic restaurant

Phil Reakes

Avoid the cavalier golden ale . It's like making love in a punt.
