This is an excellent public beach that is far less crowded then the more popular Lighthouse Beach . You need to pay for parking .

"Algiers" is just another name for "Gulfside City Park ", so called because it is at the end of Algiers Lane. This beach is pretty wide and flat. It's also pretty calm . I usually find smaller shells
