Arrived a bit late for King Lear, and had to wait a while to be seated. Missed the beginning of the show. Don’t be late!

This state of the art theater draws some of the biggest stars in some of the most avant-garde productions around! Come early to enjoy a drink and the awesome atmosphere.

Try to arrive early and enjoy the bar area: as though carved right into a very old building .

It's an impressive old movie theater . I was amazed by the interior.

Fun fact: before BAM acquired this building, it was, among other incarnations, a porn theater.

One of those theaters that is so unique that it almsot rivals the show you're seeing. Love how they decided to purposely let it fall apart .

Awesome space with a huge huge screen and tons of gritty charm

If you're trying to decide between the left & right side of the upper orchestra , buy the left. You're more likely to be moved if they need to shift people to the lower orchestra .

Beautiful old theater in the best neighborhood in Brooklyn

Make a night of it and try out the Brooklyn food scene. Anywhere but right around the theater (take the subway a stop or two away).

Great film festival for kids and one of the only places in NYC to catch a classic film on the big screen !

You can pre-order drinks for intermission before the show. This way you can actually have time to consume the drink rather than spend the whole intermission on line .
