One of the best places to see theater in NYC as it should be presented - intimate , simple and pure in an amazing venue that speaks to the collective experience and history.
This is hands down one the city 's best theatres! Don't miss the chance to see a classic film here!
Buy a reusable BAM cup for $5 so you can bring your wine or beer into the theater - remember to bring it back the next time, though!
Arrived a bit late for King Lear, and had to wait a while to be seated. Missed the beginning of the show. Don’t be late!
This state of the art theater draws some of the biggest stars in some of the most avant-garde productions around! Come early to enjoy a drink and the awesome atmosphere.
Try to arrive early and enjoy the bar area: as though carved right into a very old building .
It's an impressive old movie theater . I was amazed by the interior.
Fun fact: before BAM acquired this building, it was, among other incarnations, a porn theater.
One of those theaters that is so unique that it almsot rivals the show you're seeing. Love how they decided to purposely let it fall apart .
Gorgeous theater, all preserved and modernized.
BAM's off-campus venue for premiere programming: theater, big-screen movies , dance , music .
Go have dinner somewhere on Fort Greene park after seeing a movie . Walter's or Martha are great spots nearby.
Awesome space with a huge huge screen and tons of gritty charm
If you're trying to decide between the left & right side of the upper orchestra , buy the left. You're more likely to be moved if they need to shift people to the lower orchestra .
Beautiful old theater in the best neighborhood in Brooklyn
Make a night of it and try out the Brooklyn food scene. Anywhere but right around the theater (take the subway a stop or two away).
Amazing, rough hewn space. The theatre is huge
Awesome, and affordable new, and reworked dance ; theater; and music .
See a top-notch lineup of established and experimental dance troupes, talks, film and art events during BAM's Next Wave Festival .
Excellent for music & movies !
Here’s the view from the Balcony , Row A.
Beautiful theatre, lots of personality!
Nice theatre, unique seating for balcony .
Great film festival for kids and one of the only places in NYC to catch a classic film on the big screen !
You can pre-order drinks for intermission before the show. This way you can actually have time to consume the drink rather than spend the whole intermission on line .
Gorgeous space.
A charming ruin with world class arts
see a show or something. I think it's known for that.

We are watching A Very Meow Meow Holiday Show
Great theater!
only book for the gallery if you are fit! It's a long set of stairs
Avoid the gallery - uncomfortable seats and a climb that rivals Everest!
If you're seated in the gallery ... bring oxygen
They sell beer but you can't drink it in the theater
Not the most comfortable seats .
Enjoyed Chris Rock here
If you have gallery seats, show up early and you might get upgraded to orchestra .
No leg room whatsoever damn it! ????????????
Cray sound system
Amazing warehouse space with best views in town. Love the intimate theatre with stage unexpectedly in the round - Charlottes
A beautiful space to see a concert. Eat before you go, there's not a great food selection in the area. The staff is so friendly - Rachel Modica
Beautiful theatre with a full-service cafe. Makes the productions there that much more enjoyable! - Michael Haarala
This is a great show venue - I went to cover the Latin Alternative Music Conference and it was a great time. Their bartenders were pretty chill and their drinks were delish. Two thumbs up - JC Earle
new morning coffee house features Brooklyn Roasting Company coffees and Serendipitea teas, and serves espresso drinks, drip coffee, and cold brew. - Nate Folkert
