Market selling dried seafood for locals and souvenirs for tourists . Very interesting to roam the streets. Lots of places to try snacks . Tofu pudding is a must.
If you want to get the ferry back to Teung Chung at weekends, but your ticket by the cultural centre in the market as the ferries fill up!
This market is a major tourist trap according to a few local temple keepers I talked to. Nice to browse but avoid buying.

Ping Kee Noodle Shop is the bomb. Get dem noodles with wontons! Also, don't miss out on Lam Kee Dimsum just across from it for their spare rib rice and steamed custard buns. - acorn

Definitely worth a visit when staying in Hong Kong. Get there by cable cars starting from Ngong Ping station. Be sure to be there before 11 am at the weekend to prevent long waiting in line. - Lorenz Branz
