Street food available on roadside when walking towards 'Tian Ta' buddha. 'ToFu Fah', tofu dessert , and Curry Fishball worth a try. Outdoor seating .
Eat at the zen restaurant just infront of the kung fu demonstration and order the curry steak its very very good... only for 88 hk dollars.
Ngong Ping Village is a great spot to visit while in Hong Kong. You can get there by bus or cable car , and it’s definitely worth seeing!
It's a perfect serene location. Try going there by late morning and have lunch and afternoon tea by the Ngong Ping Village .
Very good place. But don't start shopping when you exit the cabins . On your way to Buda statue you the proces are getting cheaper. :-)
Lots of different souvenirs. Interesting motion and stage shows. Nice authentic restaurants . Worth visiting.
A fun walk to the big Buddha , the gondola ride was definitely worth it, over all a very good time!
Don't miss out wisdom path which is 20 mins walk away from the big buddha ! There's so much more to ngong ping.
Leave ur bag at the baggage centre in the airport then take the bus going to the cable car as soon as you arrive in hk! So 1 place down
Super touristy but the views from the cable car on the way up were awesome
Take the crystal cable car & enjoy the awesome view throughout the cable car trip
It's a tourist trap with souvenir shops and restaurants however the souvenirs you can buy here are of higher quality and the price is not bad considering the place
The Asian food is here subpar. There's a Starbucks and Subway for those who want authentic food lol
prepare yourself for a good and long walk. but you'll definitely get a spectacular views on ur way up here..
Long line on weekend but nice view n great experience
There is free wifi to while away your time while queueing up for the cable car . Very nice,
Extremely commercialized but lots of good instagrammable spots.
For the weekends is a good option to arrive early (before 10:00), this allows to prevent long queues.
Definitely worth the HK $25 to do the mini boat tour for half an hour even though the guys offering it seem sketchy
A nice little village just close to the big Buddha .
Some of the shops sell unique HK oriented souvenirs, but the entire "village " is fabricated of course, and food outlets mediocre.
Take the 360° car with the glass bottom, it's really worth the price!
You can get delicious "Taofoo Fa" here!
Perhaps the best souvenir shops in Hong Kong
Impressive cable car !
*TRY THIS* Very very smooth & delicious!
The relaxing cable car is the way to go! #TravelTips #Hongkong #CableCar
#Charcoal grilled dried squid ..excuse the smell here :D
Went here on a Saturday, 3PM, and waited for less than 5 minutes for the cable car tickets! The place wasn't crowded at all!
Cute little village on the way to Tian Tan Buddha.
Village on stilts is worth seeing in Tai O
Well , it's a fake old village , a little bit touristy ... ????
Super touristy . Try to get in line to go back on cable car by 4:30. Otherwise, you'll be waiting for over an hour.
Awesome cable car ride to visit The Big Buddha
Come to worship
There is everything what does a tourist want (of course, it's overpriced.)
Nice place great view ! Love it!
You have to wait two hours in line for the cable car on weekends...
Souvenirs of ngong ping is quote cheap
