Stanley Market is the perfect place to buy something special for friends or relatives. Plan to stay for a few hours and sample the fine restaurants in the restored Murray House or along the main street on the waterfront.

Fun place to browse and shop. Love to come here when in Hong Kong. Clothes , souvenirs, shoes , electronics , it's all here. Good prices. Restaurants & English pubs nearby, beautiful beach out back ????????
way less crowded than the other markets , and a great place to walk around and buy souvenirs. this neighbourhood is absolutely lovely and looks very European compared to the other parts of hong kong .
Great place to hangout... different part of Hong Kong ... a must visit place if you visit Hong Kong. Different ambiance. Love it.
Explore and look for good deals on clothing and souvenirs in this covered A/C market . Nearby are some old long houses, a shrine , which overlooks the bay and the rocks where you can take in the view .
The market is filled with life~ store owners here are friendly . Lots of interesting things to browse. Lots of local eateries with English menu.
Great for tourists . Tons of souvenirs ranging from tees to jewelry ! Nice to walk around and grab a drink outside.
Baby clothes are cheap here. They carries brands like Carter's, Baby GAP, Oshkosh. But you need time to find those small shops in the alley.
Great escape from downtown HK! Good for tourists too!!
Great sunset view . The restaurants and shops on the plaza are a bit too touristy . There's some good food in the mall that's reasonable but not cheap .
Nothing worth buying but fun to walk through. Walk to the bay and enjoy the view !
The market there sucks , nothing really to buy , however the sea walk next to it is nice for relaxation . Beware and plan how to reach there in advance . It's not very near to go with a taxi .
Always crowded . But the girls are so familiar with everything, and this is a great "market " experience without fish water splashing on you.
Great market to find just about anything, and cheap ! ????????
Nice view , many people there for Christmas market .
Knick knacks and a billion of cheap things. Granted, most things are cheaper here than you can get outside of HK, but Stanley Mkt is hardly the bargain it used to be. Nevertheless, it's a fun time.
Fun place for tourists with lots of places to eat and relax.
The market is a bit boring with kitsch, but fun to stop by!
Lots of souvenirs and a popular tourist spot. Bargain to get a good price.
You might find a couple of things worth to buy if this is your first Chinese market .
Only couple of booth selling sausages and knuckles. Insanely long queue and overcrowded. Don't come if don't like queuing for 20 mins+ to get a snack .
Beautiful place to relax !
Lots of coffee places n expensive souvenirs shops.
Nice sea-side bar/restaurant. Good price market .
old style market . you can buy various small stuffs.
Some of the seller in here's not nice.. They can get angry and mad at you..
Interesting for wandering maze of the market and watching souvenirs, but nothing worth buying .
Come here for the sea and tiny souvenir shops.
10-20% discount is minimum you should expect. Never pay advertised price. Don't be afraid to walk away. They'll chase you with bigger discount .
Very touristy but great for souvenirs
Food, shopping and walking around.
Cheap finds :))
Great place for a weekend stroll ????
Cashmere, electronic gadgets and art .
Lots of goodies if you know the way around!! They close early tho, come before 6pm!!
The toy stores are pretty cool!
Should bargain hard !!! They want you, dont be shy to ask some further discount ..
Go to Ladies market it is way cheaper and there are more stuff to buy.
Fun place to go on a sunny day.
Great shopping market !
Lovely market
Don't buy anything without bargaining.
Free wifi along the waterfront !
Very expensive . Go to the wholesale markets in Guangzhou where you really find deals
Not so fun when it's raining.
Crowded foreigners, the shop salesman like them as they will pay higher price for anythings that actually are cheaper outside.
close around 6:00pm almost shop :(
Was good. But very rainy today :(
Nothing really stands out at this market .
Tourist trap
Des petits souvenirs pas chers mais c'est bien pour les touristes. J'ai surtout apprécié la pause plage / végétation qui permet de voir un peu la nature et autre chose que les gratte-ciels
Market selling dried seafood for locals and souvenirs for tourists. Very interesting to roam the streets. Lots of places to try snacks. Tofu pudding is a must. - Katrina
One of the best congee in HK. A really friendly lady served us. - Lye Hock Chuah
Take the tram since it's really cheap but can get crowded. The MTR is also a great and inexpensive way to get around if you're good with maps. It's at Wan Chai where I found some really great deals. - Red Breezy
Great place to chill and relax. There's live band every now and then at the plaza itself. MacDonald tends to get really crowded. Evening back drop is beautiful - チュ リー
Such a great place. Right on the bay. People watching. Bistro vibe. Excellent service and really good food. - Kristie Beadman
