The Zocalo is the largest square in Latin America and the third largest in the world afterMoscow’s Red Square and Beijing's Tiananmen Square.
The Zócalo itself is impressive but the atmosphere is a circus and is not in anyway a depiction of Mexican life. Locals told me later that walking through it once is all you ever need to do. Move on.

En la calle del lado de las joyerías , frente a la plancha del Zócalo , hay restaurantes que ofrecen comida corrida desde $60 por persona (hasta los $200, si quieren pedir algo más elaborado) con balcón
